my thanks mates! i did enjoy this natal day of mine. ended up at an irish pub and sang sea shantys with the local band. course a hearty dinner of cornbeef and potatoes with rations of guiness and potcheen made me more the merrier. The final bit was a small cake iced with green icing and a candle. made this ol pirate right happy it did

Thank you mates!! Josh's parents confided in me that he has one last shot at extending his young life. But even that will not let him see beyond his next couple of birthdays. He's actually very upbeat and funny as hell. I gave him a copy of the Crimson Pirate. 3 days later his mom called and said he had rigged a rope from the play scape and was swinging like a pirate in the rigging! Thanks again mates for helping me with this. i'll take some pics of the horde and the birthday boy.

In my work as an entertainer of children at the local Barnes and Noble. I have met a young lad who is terminally ill. He wants to be a pirate! Over the last 6 to 7 months I have seen him numerous times either at my events or in my travels. His birthday is 14 December. A few years back i remembered The crew from Tales of the Seven Seas did a wonderful thing and put together a small treasure chest of donated swag for a young one. Just me two bits worth. RBG cannons are pricey but it hand crafts each one. i know him personally. I've been to his shop. now if i can get him to turn his back on me for a minute i'd be having me a swivel as well!

Traditions has two size replacement frizzens i had to replace one of mine and it works great. Did have to enlarge the hole for the screw a bit to get it to fit.
