~Misty pancakes and cutlasses go flying **Poof** Red cat's dream dissapears due to some odd sound.... Uttering a slight grumble..Not moving one muscle save to lift a bleary eyelid, she peeks from under the blanket, pillow already clamped over her head.. faint memories of a screech coming from the porch.. She eyes one outlandishly loudly clad pirate with the oddest accent attached to something hissing with a big round head !! the Cat leaps from under the covers and takes refuge halfway inside Jacky's coat peering out from behind buttons and a sash.... Woah!!!! What was IN those rummy chocolates?

Perhaps this means you want the love of a powerful man or person (doesn't have to be a sexual thing) but you also want to be equally powerful or important so that he/they depends on you as well. In the end neither of you being stronger or more powerful than th other. Or that you have that love alreadt but seek need and equality from them. Just a thought. I'm not a pro but I seem to have the occasional knack..

Ahh..in a story I have been writing the Captain relishes The sea, Treasure .... and menacing without necesarily killing as a means to his goal of procreating himself as a legend. He does it as a matter of sport....course every now and then 'e gets a bit carried away.. well he IS a Pirate Captain heh heh

Red Cat reappears now back in pirate garb but with some shells and sparkles still stickin from her coiffed hair. She's carrying a pillow and a bottle of maple syrup. "Ahoy! I coulnda sleep." Looking about through half masted eyes she says mid yawn "I brought summin for the paaa..aa..aaaancakes" Stifling the yawn with the back of her hand she heads to a quiet spot and passes out clutching the syrup ZZzzz

Kenneth, there be a post later on in this section on shoes from Fugawee ye might look at. Also in Captain Twill there's a whole discussion about the shoe/boot thing. I wondered too about slipping with shoes, having gone flying many times on the ice/snow or rainy sidewalk in leather loafers. Good lucke!

Part of a story on the from page of YAHOO this AM> -------------------------------------------------------- There were accounts that he tied slow-burning cannon fuses to his long black hair before going into battle. 18TH CENTURY PSYCHO OPS "With the fuses in his hair and heavily armed, he's a frightening person," says Butler, who added that pirates preferred to take ships without a shot. "There were some psychopathic pirates out there, but Blackbeard was not one of them. We have no evidence that Blackbeard ever murdered anyone or ever tortured anyone. Blackbeard at first fought with the British as a privateer, a kind of legal pirate, attacking Spanish and French ships in the War of the Spanish Succession in the early 18th century. With the war's end, Blackbeard and thousands of other unemployed sailors turned to piracy. His troop captured a French slaver called La Concorde in a brief skirmish in November 1717, says Butler. He renamed the ship the Queen Anne's Revenge, which was probably 90 to 105 feet long. The band also had three smaller sloops, with about 400 men under arms. In May 1718, Blackbeard's pirates sailed into the port of Charleston, South Carolina and, in a stunningly audacious move, blockaded the harbor. The ransom demanded, and paid, was a chest of medicine worth 400 pounds, says Butler. "In a way, I guess it did sort of terrorize that port. Blackbeard at that time had a fleet of four vessels, with 60 cannons. This was the most powerful fleet in this hemisphere at this time," says Butler. Shortly after terrorizing Charlestown, Blackbeard lost his lead ship, running the Queen Anne's Revenge aground on one of the many shifting sandbars off North Carolina, says Butler.

Seeing the hour is late, Jenny dispenses hugs to th ladies and kisses to the gents. What a great Halloween! Thankee for the party! T'was Grande! As the sky in the East begins ta glow with a faint hint 'o' dawn Blackfoot holds th door for her.. and leaving a trail of shells and chocolate bits she swishes out into th very early morn, calling once again over her shoulder Happy Halloween!

Aye, we be here echoes Red Cat fish, appreciating Jane taking care to not step on her current form, "take two luv they're small" Ah Mr. Blackfoot and Mr. Tar! I was callin for ye but could not be heard over that damned screaming plastic toombstone on th porch! Why ye both look grande! Jacky be flyin false colors wearing a suit and all! Still the cheese head sorta softens the upstanding image as the wig flows out from under it. She elbows him gently whisperin sidelong "ye must alert me should th Blue Mermaid appear..or if anyone comes by with a pan and tartar sauce considerin me new nickname" heehee! Not so sure the same hat work's f' the devil over there tho, it may melt causing im to look like a grilled cheese and tomato! Blackfoot what ye be dressed as? Glad ye came t th party as well! Would ye like a rummy chocolate? Oi Oderlesseye be trackin sand all through the place I thinks he has half the island stilll with him! The door swings open to reveal a party in full swing with many grande lookin folk sportin costumes of all type and sippin some odd looking concotion with spiders in it? Hmm.. In swishes a mermaid glistening from emerald tail to fishnet bodice and trailing long curly locks adorned here and there with seashells and gems, which match a huge Topaz jewel at her dainty throat. Brown eyes sparkle merrily from under shells and curls and holding out a large pumkin full o rum filled chocolates she declares..with lips tinted pink and frosty 'tis I Red Cat Jenny! Happy Haloween to ye! Now whar's Jacky? He told me of the festivities an I believe I am er....fashionably late?
-
You'd need to distress it a bit. Nothin shiny and new would do. How about some of those glass fishnet floats as well. Don't know if they'ree "period" but they're nautical and old.
