"Don't feel bad sir..." Insisted young Mr. Davis, as he handed Reiley a towel. "... happens to everyone, not use to the sea." "You don't say..." Growled Reiley, as he snapped the cloth from Davis and kicking the bucket away. "Least if I was drunk, I'd have a reason to feel like this....." "Oh hell......" Paused Reiley, as he looked around the room for the bucket. "....not again!"

Our crew's gunner Billy could pull a JC off easily!! That would be right up his alley! Not to mention if I had it my way, I would turned to into a cross between Passion of Christ (still havn't seen it... Sorry) meets Gladiator and Braveheart!! It would be great! BTW: no offense to any... Just personally would have put up a fight and went out swinging... Then again I was never good with that "turn the other cheek" thing!

Good deal! As we speak! I'll also send you a shot list of the pics I have planned. You are to be featured BTW!!

I had too much to dream last night
Rats replied to Diego Santana de la Vega's topic in Beyond Pyracy
Ok it’s not pirate! But I just woke up from a cool dream and had to write it down before I forgot it. After writing it, I thought I’d share it, since some of us do multiple timelines! Not to mention some of it is corny!! Part of a wagon train going west. Kind of reminiscent of miniseries Into The West. Finally make town, only the witch who owns the house we rent says she’s wants to sell it and we’ll have no where to live (it’s winter). Funny part: my nieve wife offers to give her a spoon (like in far and away). But only one spoon, which gets a good laugh out of both of us. Yeah she’s corny, but she looked like a cross between my wife and Nicole Kidman! (gotta love that red hair!) Eventually in order to raise the money, I turn to a life of crime and start robbing banks, stagecoaches and then TRUCKS????? As it turns into a B-western. Because we end up causing an old movie truck to crash and then explode, sending money and such everywhere. Eventually my partners get caught while staying at my house. They keep their mouths shut about me, but the law says I lose my house and property unless I can pay seven hundred dollars. We apparently only have two hundred dollars. They’re also caught by that Captain Love guy from that movie Zorro ( I swear it was him!) He drops me a pistol and says, “Save yourself the trouble and your family the shame…” But there’s an Army recruitment going on outside, with a five hundred dollar signing bonus. I run out there, enlist, and call the captain out and attempt to pay my debt. His commander (sort of a Teddy Roosevelt character) says it’s only supposed to be a five hundred dollar fee! I say, I was told by Love it was seven hundred….. Yeah he gets lambasted in front of everyone, gives me a dirty look and I find myself I the Army!! As they’re walking my gang away, I mention to the commander, they’re about hang three of the best scouts and riders in the territory. Not to mention three of the best riflemen!! That’s when my DEAR wife decides to wake me up!!!!! AAARGH! It was just getting good!! AAARGH!!! -
Thats the style Pete! Take to patterns brother! RF2 is gonna be here quick. Especially with the holidays and such!!! Thanks again for that tankard! Rats!

"Damn, hell and scunion!" Hissed Reiley as he attempted to keep his footing. "This is no place for a man to live!" But as he tended to the mistress, Reiley hid all distaste in an effort to calm his patient. "You'll be alright dear lady." Reiley added as he attempted to calm Mistress Mckinney. "But with the daggers in the Captain's eyes, I'm afraid I'll be swimming back to shore."

Looks like a great photo op to a Rat like me!!! Rats

Already my crew knows where my intentions are directed. That's what friends are for! You guys are the best! Yes I was wondering about all those points and was to then question about performers. What can I say. Always on the look out for my crew and more to do! Rats

Entrance fee? Local Hotels? Available rooms? What's the area like surrounding the site? What's the weather like that time of the year?

Keel Hauled.. Drawn and quartered... shot... cut, hacked... shish-ka-bobbed.. (or is it Kish-ka- bobbed) burned at the steak..... and otherwise generally Maimed........? yeah what the heck, anything for the crew and of coarse "the show"! You can't keep a good Rats down! Rats!
-
Anything for the shot! .........Did you say Keel hauling???? Well.............?
-
Pappa-Rat-Z?? Sounds like a rapper?? Thanks again for all the good words! The crew really made it easy, I just tried to get a story out of it! I'll have to look up this fella and see what 'ol Rats can learn from him. Thanks again! Rats BTW: I'm thinking the next shoot should be a few filler shots of a Red sleeve (Maddog?) and a pistol in the hand. I also wouldn't mind dropping another bountyman in the first sequence for ambush effect. Rats collecting the reward from a local magistrate? March tracks Rats and partner down at a tavern March has at the two scavengers Rat's partner is killed, but Rats escapes. Rats is finally caught March drags the battered Rat to the Captain. Rats goes RIP (dirt nap) or worse???? I might even already have the location for staging the tavern and the fight inside. Then the vicious end for the Rat!! Not like I've been planning this or anything. But we'll see what we can do by RF2 Take care

But now we can't alway's be serious..... Can we? The Brother's Duel Pretty heroic right?! Now take a look at how it really happened!!! What do you expect they're brothers!!!

Actually I prefer to consider them... Photo-ala-Ratz! And the only reason I say that, is because I have no idea who that is... You see, after spending a few years working for uncle sam, I wanted to learn what I needed to do and get my hands on the equipment to make my ideas happen. I made every effort to dodge the theory classes and just wanted to be shown "how to". I could then form my own style and go from there. Truthfully I've had notebooks of ideas and sketches for years. I just needed to be shown how to use the equipment. Which is how I've come do what I do. It's really just my attempts at film with a still shot. But thanks for the compliments! Yet at the same time, I can't take the credit for costuming and the simple fact the crew looks good at what we do. Everyone has a character about them, not to mention the Capt. really outfitted us perfectly. When you surround yourself with such a great bunch of friends, family and friends that are like family, you can't help but succeed! Here's to you all! Rats!

Well sir, like I said, My first love was always film. But without $$$ I couldn't go to film school and ended up a commercial photog for about 10 years. Therefore aside from the typical commercial gigs, I would plan what I considered "movie still pics". Let's face it! There has to be a story there or it's just a snap shot! Yes I would love to make the slide show work for RF2. But this is just the start! Just think if we had a good video or film camera there!!! Thanks again! Rats

They thought their plan would work. However......... There was a Rat in the woodwork! Having his men sneak ashore should have been an easy task...
-
Right you are Capt. I humbly stand corrected. Are we ready for more Pics????? I thought so!!
-
Why thank you my dear! I will also add those are all examples of your patterns. :) I'm just glad we had the opportunity to shoot. Luckily it worked to where we were able to teardown before it got dark. I just wish folks hadn't left on Sunday, when we finally got up and moving! Just say the word Pete we'll plan either staged inside or location stuff! Rats!
-
Thanks Pete! I've had some of these ideas for years. Just with different eras. The characters and props made it easy! I just went with what I know! Thanks again! BTW: We ain't done yet my friend! You just let me know when you have some spare time and your gear together. I have yet to get in on some of the pics myself.... Well, I got in on a few! But what can I say! This is just the start my friend!! And that tankard is famous!!
-
To be continued..................
-
Are you sure..............? Good! I'm quite proud of how these turned out!
-
What can I say??? Just give me some folks that look good (or that look bad for all that matters) and that can follow instructions.... Then throw in a good location and some light... I'll make something happen I did scrap those repeats Capt! Everyone ready for the next batch??? :)
-
Sorry folks, if it's OK I'm bumping these images so they can work with my storyline as they were intended... You didn't know 'ol Rats had a method behind his madness, did ya??? Take care and have a looksee a few pages to come. Our very own Mistress McKinney did a fine job!
