  1. Lilly smiling..."Chole! You wicked...wicked Girl! Now, that you know...you must keep mum until someone else has at least one good chance at it. As for Port Washington's Pyrate event in June. I am sure the crewe of the Archangel would welcome a chance to come 'play' at any Pryate event that comes along...that's for sure. Just had a friend of mine call me tonight asking when the crew of the Archangle is coming down to the Pyrate event in St. Augustine, FL. Good God...that would be great if we could all go to that event too!
  2. Now Listen Here Boy! This is my Favorite shot of the whole weekend...Joshua Merryweather and Maddogg!
  3. ... Nice...Skittles and I missed out on all the fun! This is you Rats...caught red-handed!
  4. No criticism intended, love... It's just jolly good to see! :) None taken, Mad Jack... It was quite an event...but I can't see how I missed out on the free beer though?! Captain...where was Skittles and I during this free-for-all?!
  5. My word...it looks so...so massive in your possession Black John… Oh, but what a thing of beauty! Thank God Marko didn't shoot me with that...there wouldn't be anything left of me!
  6. I do have a question for you, Kass... Seeing that there is so many 'weights' to wool. What do you suggest one uses for a 'multi-purpose' mantua? I would love to use 'earth tones'...just want to make sure that I do no swoon too much from the 100 degree heat we get out here in the midwest for summers.
  7. Okay CrazyCholeBlack, Here are two shots of Kass from this past weekend. Her wool/linen mantua of dark navy blue, burgundy and pale yellow really looked great! Here is another shot of her promoting her first love….chocolate! If you look closer, you can see the detail of her stays. Seeing the groups goal is to incorporate all social classes..I need to purchase the pattern and make one for myself! Oh, so many things on the ‘To Do” list right now. I have a feeling that me and my sewing machine will become the best of friends this winter
  8. Yes, and all I heard from you after that was...."My eye! My eye!" You lived and your daughter couldn't have been happier with the poster you won - One sheet from POTC II!
  9. And why not, Mad Jack...we had a great time of it!
  10. Let's see...hung, stabbed, shot.... All in a day's work, eh Captain?
  11. What a splendid idea, Ransom! Could cause great havic for those boat in port!
  12. Oh, I have several lovely shots of Kass/Lizzy in their mantuas, Chole! And a really good front shot of Kass' mantua too, but I need to down load my 260 photos from my digital camera this past weekend yet... just give me a day or two to get them together!
  13. Though there was a full moon, the darkness engulfed everything around her. Its coldness crept towards her slowly as the roaring sounds beat within her ears then suddenly silence. She was troubled and yet she sought out only one thing. Staring off into the darkness she suddenly felt a great and heavy weight. It then did take hold of her; pulling at her, pressing her down towards the bottom, drinking in her body and enveloping her body into dead silence. She closed her eyes and whispered his name upon the wind. Swiftly the moment turned once more to the still, dark place.
  14. Walking Stick Found! It came to our attention that a very elaborate walking stick was found on Sunday morning. The item has a silver ball handle and the cane or staff of the walking stick is carved with great detail. If anyone knows who the owner is, please contact Jeff Miller. He said that the item could be obtained at the Lockhouse. Cheeky
  15. Oh without a doubt, the Pirate Brethren had a splendid time! And I thank you for the fine conversation. As for the lap... I think Bob had dibs! ;^) Cheeky smiling....(Which Bob, Captain John? For I met a lot of Bobs and Johns that evening ) And I must say, that three-legged stool was a tricky thing... that one leg just kept popping out over and over! (Oh my... how dirty that sounds!) It only sounded slightly suggestive, Black John...perhaps visual aid would help next time As for the stool in question, I had a crack at it meself. If it hadn't been for the helpful hand of Blood Davey I would have ended up in the fire Saturday night! Thank you Bloody Davey for your help!
  16. Thank you kindly, Black John. There seemed to be so much to do on Saturday and so little time to partake in conversation. I hope that you enjoyed our brief conversations nonetheless. And I was so looking forward to sitting upon your lap and conversing with you more, but ney it was not in the stars this time. But fear not, Captain…we hope that there will be other wonderful events to look forward to. The crew of the Archangel can only hope that this outing met your group’s expectations of Pyratical fun!
  17. Yes...Jeff Miller! He was so kind and engaging to all of us. A thank-you letter is in the works...that's for sure! Hey Kass....perhaps if you rub the area in question Bob would feel a tad bit better? It was Marko who shot me? I'll be damned! All I knew is after I punched 'Kirk' I needed to flee. I heard the shot, therefore went down and eat dirt! I wonder if anyone got a shot of me screaming my lungs out when Kirk (Physican/Butcher) approached the women with the HUGE carving knife in hand. Just the size of the knife would put anyone into fits! ...and yes....I will do anything for my craft, Empress! I am an Actress!
  18. I fully agree with you Jim! You should have seen my face when I approached the bridge only to find that it had been 'moved' during one of the raids. I almost went swimming! One of the best bits of the day was when Jeff (sorry...don't remember his last name) held the bridge against the Pyrates from taking the women and children. Only to have you and Bob dash over to dry end of the lock (Bob took a very nasty spill in doing so...I hope that he is doing better this morning)...then instead of killing Jeff and taking possession of the toll bridge, Bob paid Jeff a penny to release the bridge and put things right again. Clever boys you all are!
  19. Cheeky Actress.... Okay..for those who are not farmiliar with the english term 'Cheeky' it means: Naughty, Mischievous, Sassy Okay...just pick one. The character of Mistress Lilly McKinney is one of High Court/Courtesan during the late 1690s, thus the naughty and mischievous part. To 'sub' her income, Lilly had taken up acting. This, from what I've read and been told, was not uncomman. That's pretty much it in a nut shell.
  20. A belated welcome to thee, Shadoes! Welcome to the Pub and enjoy!
