  1. We have the soundtrack and my sister listened to it so much... her parrot started mimicing the *THankful heart* song. Pickd it out all on her onsies. I love Rizzo!!! Merry Yo Ho!!
  2. According to production, they are asking the crews to return. As I said before they may be calling in the order of importance. I'm not saying your friend is in no way important, I'm onlu saying they are calling the speaking parts first and then in an order on down the line. If someone is not called back... that would be for a reason known to production. I'm awear of several folks who have already been notified but hey had small speaking parts so don't give up hope.

  16. I can't for the life of me remember who asked but... I know I said I'd ask the writers about where the name Barbossa came from. This email came from Terry today. Hope it helps!! <omited> <omited> Barboss'a name had, oddly, many influences. You might think it began with the Barbarrosa Brothers but at the time we were (or at least I was) only vaugely familiar with that reference. I would have probably associated the word more with the old Willie Nelson film. I think it started with the notion of the Barbary Coast or the Barbard Coast Pirate. Thr Barbary Coast Pirates were located in North Africa. I believe, though the reference is maybe more common to the San Francisco brothal section around the time of the gold rush. I'm almost certain the San Francisco Barbary Coast was named for the Africa Pirate coast. In any case it was renowned for the certain level of wickedness and debauchery. The word which also calls to mind the word "Barbarian". We were a little concerned about the less then scary call to mind of the word "barber" but then again, you've got Sweeny Todd, the Deamon Barber of Fleet Street. We decided barbers are scary enough. I also liked that there was a bit of a hint of the phrase Sargasso Sea... If you took Barbary and Sargasso you might get Barbossa. The fact that the original Greek word for Barbarian is something like barbaros helped us think it was right. The connection to Barbarrosa Brothers we decided would be a cool 'echo' and not a confusion (but by that time we just decided that we liked how Barbossa sounded.) Terry
  17. They must have changed that. Maybe just for the Sing alongs? I attended the "Evita" one, the one with Madonna and Antonio Banderas that is. Oh, my goodness, people went all out on costumes, BIG time! Well, we shall see what happens. Since every single thing *Disney* (according to the CIA and FBI ) is now such a high profile terrorist target.... things have changed.
  18. None of that information is correct. At this time the film only has a few working titles.
  19. Disney has it's limits though... Small costumes, nothing huge and gaudy and NO weaponry of ANY kind not even rubber of plastic. Just a heads up for whoever goes in garb.
  20. Mr Pintel, Lee, is already on board for the sequal. There's one wish off yer list lass!
  21. Oooooooo, I never stray lad. My course always be set and well navigated. Aye, I mentioned something about naked and being all a cuddle with a blade. For m'self, the clothing may be optional... but NEVER the weaponry.
