Well, it's past the time for this months Baltimore Shanty sing, but here's the schedule that is usually kept: On the first Tuesday of the month from 8 to 10 p.m., at the Royal Mile Pub, 2407 Price St. in Wheaton, Maryland (near University & Rt. 97). On the second Wednesday of the month from 8 to 10 p.m., at the Wharf Rat, 801 S. Anne Street, Baltimore, Maryland (Fells Point) On the third Thursday of the month from 8 to 10 p.m., at The Drummer's Lot, Main Street in Annapolis, Maryland 21401 It's usually a fun time. The group that does the singing usually starts of the fun and they pass around a list of songs, which you can either pick a song from and sing, or request. It makes for interesting listening as folks sing slightly different versions of the songs and or start to sing and forget parts of it.

I just picked up the game the other day. I thought it was going to be something like the Civilization games. It's not. I like it though. It's pretty fun. The game has lots of fun things, sword fights and ship battles and other things. The one thing I haven't gotten figured out yet is the dancing parts. It's not easy to follow the silly hand gestures that indicate which way to go. I love the animations of the ships exploding and some of the battles. So, far, one of the things I'm not happy with is the forced time off when you divide the plunder. they should give you the option whether or not you want to keep plundering or rest. Over all though, I really like it. I can see many hours of my life virtual pirating!

I like the movie for most of the reasons everyone else has already pointed out. It's probably the first movie that I've seen that a woman is depicted as a pirate. I haven't seen to many of the older movies, so I'm not totally sure. Anyway, several of my lady friends have asked me what to where as a lady pirate. I point 'em to this movie. Mostly, I tell 'em to dress like a guy. lol. I like to watch it for the sword fights and the whole ship battle. Oh, and I want that sword the Dawg has/had.

I gotz one of dem skull shot glasses. Love it. It be like drinkin from the skulls of your enemies. LOL I'll have to keep an eye out for the other. I like it too.

I think the lad be sayin either that show sucks or that he likes it, I'm just not to sure. I caught the last five minutes of the show. I was all, "Oooh Pirates" and then they killed each other. I was bummed. I'll catch the reruns.

I did the same thing... then changed the last one... and I got Barbossa I like Jack, but I like Barbossa more. He's got the pirate air to him more so than Jack... at least I think so. He also has better clothes... when the moon isn't out.

"pistol grip" Where be that second sword from? That a right impressive weapon. As for the Rapier vs. Cutlass question... I prefer the cutlass for onboard and ship to ship fightin' and the rapier for the more fancier fighting where ya have more room to swing it.

That be a fine lookin' ship. I'm always amazed at how beautiful some of these ships look. Especially in full sail. Blackjohn, that's a great list you pointed out. Lots more beautiful ships there.

Yeah, I often find myself being the proverbial third wheel around many of my friends. That's when I start to think that the single life sucks. Then I start to see some of the problems and issues that they have to work through. Most of the time they manage. Then there are the times they get all grumpy and pissy towards each other and I start lookin for a way to politely leave. It's nice being single, in that I don't have to deal with issues like that. It often times sucks being single, because I miss having a companion around to either just be with or just talk to. Sure, a pet can be a great companion. However, they don't often fill the void that another person can. LOL, and I don't mean that in any other way than being a friend etc. Oh well...

"Didn't get up til noon??? I wish I could sleep late on a weekday - damn job!" does what I did... took the day off !

I'd say if'n you can scrape the loot together fer a seasond pass... do it. even if you only go 5 times, the pass pays for itself. $70 for the pass, $17 at the gate... just my thought. Can't wait for it to be gate crashin time! 20hours-24minutes at the time of this posting

Thanks for pointin' the pin out. Interestin' idea. Thinks I'll go pillage the craft shops tomorrow while the odd bits of cloths go roundy-round. Lime green + spot a mile away... I thought we'z be pirates, sneakin' about and pillagin' an' plunderin' an' leave'n before anyone knows better. Still, it may be easy to spot one another though. Not like yer flag's made of the stuff... yeesh...

*walks up to bar, gets a tankard of ale and rum* *walks over to dark corner and watches the rest* Single here too. Read through a lot of the posts here. Would probably agree with over half of 'em. After being single for a long time, I've gotten set in me ways and that can be hard to change or even adjust a wee bit. It does get a wee bit lonely at times but I get by and I don't have to worry about pissin any one off when I'm chattin or flirtin with the other lady pirates.

That was a great weekend. Well, sunday when I went was. Ran into a bunch of ya there. It was great meeting all you. On a wee side note though, anyone know the Cap'n of the "Wenches Pride"... the gentleman that was workin at the leather shop by the Pyrate Privies? Wore small glasses... I really need to get his recipe for grog... Oh that was some good stuff he had

This sounds like a wicked time. I'll have to scrounge around for some kinda sash in lime green? Hmm... how's a bout a cumberbun like sash? On second thought, I'll have enough other belts and stuff around the waist that it'll never be seen. I'll have to put it on the arm...oooh.. maybe in the hat! I wonder if'n I can find a lime green feather. That don't have no "weird" connotations doez it? As for the encampment, I'll probably not camp, but I'd certainly crash,er.. stop bye and pillage a bit. BTW... where is a pic of that pin? The link didn't show up and I'm slowly sortin' through the galley... er.. .gallery

I think I like Anne The Foxx, okay... cheap, easy kissbutt, however, it has other meanings... Anne could be sly like a foxx... master seaman, er... person... PIRATE! yeah that's it...
