I Made mine from a cotton blend. I looked at frocks on e-bay till I saw a design and color that I liked .But what I can suggset is to use good tread on your buttons.I rushed the sewing of the buttons and now I'm paying for it by loosing them on my baldric and just a heavy brush against doors and stuff. Just for fun I held onto all my reciepts just so I could see just how much it was to make a frock.It took some time to make but it is worth it. I even sewed a small pocket to the inside for my pocket watch..... I picked up the pattern at Jo-anns,I know it wasn't to period specs but it also came with patters for a waistcoat,breachs,shirt, and of cource nice looking frock.

I had a great time with all the people from Pyracy Pub. I can't wait till Stynky posts the pics he took.I had a great time with Mick MacAnselan at the Incampment as well as just walking around Faire. I saw Black John but I missed Ms. Black john. And of cource no invasion is complete with of the two sisters of trouble..Sea legs and Mad Women cherly. Well I will keep an eye (patch) out for ya....I hope to catch up you sometime to say hi face to face......are going to be able to make the Pyracy Pub meet up at 2:00 at the White Hart?????big photo opps....

I will be at the camp saturday morning. My pirate jeep can hold about 6 drunkin sailors.....so all we need is a helmsmen to get us back to the camp.....If you are staying at the campground and you don.t want to drive back than catch a ride up with me>>>>>

So do we have a full head count for the inmcampment yet??? Looks like the weather will be on our side this weekend... This year I'll be cookin me hotdog over the fire at the end of me cutlass.... campin out for a little RRRRRRR&RRRRRRRRRR

I figurin' that if the hunt is over at 1:30 or 2:00 than the only thing anyone is missin is the 1st or 2nd pub.....and its not hard to catch up at a pub crawler....HA...that makes it more fun trying to catch up!!!!!!!! But I may be alittle late and I don't see myself in the hunt anyway so... anytime after 11:30 should be good for me..... CC

How about 2:00. so anyone running late can make it. does anyone have a proble with 2:00pm meet up???????????? That won't cut into the scavenger hunt,and Like stynky says< half an hour is'nt alot of time,it takes a half an hour to get everyone to hold still for a picture...... Hey Black John...We have the advantage of living near A large Amish community in southern MD. I'm sure if you looked south of us you could find one In Leonardtown or more of a chance in St.Marys Co. And if it is Amish it is a good Bet it is as close to period as you can get... You shouldn't be to hard to spot Pirate Weekend.Are you going to paint a big black "P" on the side

So who's goin to the Privateer fest.I can't wait,I hear there was to be a write-up in the Baltimore sun on Thuresday. If there is a group going maybe we should pick a place to meet up???? There are a few nice landmarks around the area that would be great for getting together.

Count me in... I think I will only be staying for Saturday,so I will Paypal you the $11.00 Duckeets I had a BLAST last year and I can't wait till this years.....Maybe if we are lucky, the Corsairs Might stop by and sing a few shanties and have a few cool ones.... But I won't get my hopes up

Hi Mick MacAnselan!!!!!!!!! Can't wait ta see at pirate weekend at MDRF. Find the trim you like and fold it over and iron it.It is not to hard to sew to a blank. and like hurricane said,make sure you start and stop at the back of the hat. see ya

I think you should get one or two of the PYRACY tee shirts to wear wile they are filming the show. And if you can maybe give the other builders a PYRACY button to wear.......

Saturday the 27th is opening day!!!!!!!! Is anyone from here going to be there opening day? If so maybe we can come up with a meet up place and time.I have aranged a ride to and from so I can and get off my but!!!!!!!!
