I know the drill about long-hair yadda-yadda, but I have always asked anyone who says anything negative about my long hair to provide me with proof that the length of anyones hair has any effect on their ability to perform any task or detracts from the performance, and if so, why are women exempt? Usually dies on the spot.

It is discrimination just the same as if someone were to base their bigotry on ethnicity or skin color.

I am a "wears-his-own-hair" kinda person.

prejudice is always a target for battle as far as I am concerned. (I got my BSE in secondary social studies with a final 3.47 GPA @ 49 years old and my hair is down to the small of my back)

To each his own, but why let people discriminate at all?

Its not that they it looks bad. My research puts me around a lot of heavy machinery, and I would rather keep my scalp than have my long hair.

First off I am sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum... I don't really know where to put it.

I am getting to a point where I can't just grow my hair on a whim anymore due to well let's say "work." My research for my MS is easier on me if I keep my hair reasonably short. I like having hair anywhere between shaggy and to the shoulders. I have recently been looking for an alternative to have the illusion of longer hair without having to grow it out. I have found queues and wigs. A site I found while perusing the pub here has both and can base it on my hair. Basically I was wondering which option would be better. I also usually use a bandanna/head-wrap that covers the top of my skull and a more sparrow style one with long hair. I have been leaning toward a full skull style though. What option would be more viable, a queue or a wig?

Any suggestions and help is appreciated.

Felt it this Morning at 3 but I was far enough away that it was no worse than back in Pensacola when the test bombs at Eglin.

I think that may have been a concept taken from the book but in the wrong order.

I'll bet the book would prove to be a bit more cohesive and less distracting than what wound up on the screen if the writer did a good job of it. (Haven't read it, not really inclined to at this point.)

Careful words there mate. The book is excellent, but the movie has nothing to do with the book other than Blackbeard and the fountain of youth. I suggest picking it up. I went into the movie having read it knowing that Disney only wanted the name and to use those two elements. The book and the movie are not even close to each other. If you want fleshed out it was really good at laying out backgrounds here and there but not disrupting the story.

Now seen it I have to say it definitely was better than 2 and 3.

I didn't like the change in flags. I did like that they did try to do zombies the correct way (a man reanimated under the direct control of a bocor) and not the hollywood way (brain addicted flesh eater).

My only real problem is that the ramrod likes to fall out. A small o-ring helps though.

Being a blend of PC and Hollywood I tread lightly on the subject. I don't mind the sparrow comments. I enjoy it when kids point me out and say "Jack Sparrow, mommy". I won't dog on people for not being PC because well I love my bucket boots. What kinda irks me though is the constant ahrr's I get. There is nothing really that can be done about it though because it is really the first thing that comes to mind with most people and pirates, so I just the subject lay.
