I guess it wasn't packed by the Rhino Bullet-proof Packing Company. A disappointment at the least. :>(

Luckily the glass company nearby has hand blown glass panes. :)

  2. This topic has become helpful to me as I have been looking for a utilitarian PC knife. Daggers are easy but I just want a knife that I can work with. So far I have found a folder that dates to Valley Forge and a camp knife. Folding Knife Camp Knife
  3. The buckle is outstanding. I now have it attached to a baldric that PoD made. It will be posted soon in the garb thread. Just waiting on a few items.
  4. Just as an update: I went with a queue. It seemed to suit me more. When I do grow out my hair I start by chopping the hair in the back so as it grows the bangs can play catch up first. It seemed the more practical solution for the time periods that I find myself short of hair, as I know that I will most likely grow my hair back at a later date
  5. @ Cascabel: That sounds like a virus. Its not that they it looks bad. My research puts me around a lot of heavy machinery, and I would rather keep my scalp than have my long hair.
  6. Finally tabbed out a picking version of Spanish Ladies for ukulele... now its time to learn it!

  7. First off I am sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum... I don't really know where to put it. I am getting to a point where I can't just grow my hair on a whim anymore due to well let's say "work." My research for my MS is easier on me if I keep my hair reasonably short. I like having hair anywhere between shaggy and to the shoulders. I have recently been looking for an alternative to have the illusion of longer hair without having to grow it out. I have found queues and wigs. A site I found while perusing the pub here has both and can base it on my hair. Basically I was wondering which option would be better. I also usually use a bandanna/head-wrap that covers the top of my skull and a more sparrow style one with long hair. I have been leaning toward a full skull style though. What option would be more viable, a queue or a wig? Any suggestions and help is appreciated.
  8. Felt it this Morning at 3 but I was far enough away that it was no worse than back in Pensacola when the test bombs at Eglin.
  9. Congratulations to all that won. More specifically congrats to Talderoy with the cutlass and Silkie with the mermaid knife. I am anxious to see what the pirate pouch and bracelet look like that I won.
  10. They wanted to use the concept of Blackbeard searching for the fountain. Right now I am brushing up on my Norse mythology.
  11. I get caught up in my MS thesis research a lot. Hope good stories abound for those able to partake in events.
  12. Will definitely be looking this over.
  13. I found it funny that they I think that may have been a concept taken from the book but in the wrong order. Sorry I tried to word it in a way to avoid spoilerage.
  14. By the end of summer my kit should be fully upgraded.

  15. Careful words there mate. The book is excellent, but the movie has nothing to do with the book other than Blackbeard and the fountain of youth. I suggest picking it up. I went into the movie having read it knowing that Disney only wanted the name and to use those two elements. The book and the movie are not even close to each other. If you want fleshed out it was really good at laying out backgrounds here and there but not disrupting the story.
