Bad moments indeed... Ye got that right..i'm not the type to go sittin' in a smokey bad just to get hit on..mostly the one you want to bé hit on by are the ones taken! It's fun to go with a bunch of people and sit and drink talk and whatever in a cool bar or club but sheesh..they're all married..my matey's ..ye know what that means (not always but often)..

Yes, it was more meant of a joke, something to open the post with :) I just think it's cool they made a ballad of Barbossa

Oh you must be happy then, my keyboard doesn't work right. Where it says (in what you quoted from me) I meant to say "So IS Willl" :)I absolutely agree he's a supurb swordsmen! Yeah ROTFLMAO because Barbossa threw away his sword and dared him, arms wide open..and knew he couldn't be killed! I agree Jack probaby ran to move the fight, but i am absolutely convinced he was terriefied of Barbossa at times..his facial expressions showed that As to the only one caring to fight honestly being Will, at the end of the movie he already got more "loose" in the things he did, i have a feeling the pirate in him may come to the surface more yet, i think it'ld be cool :) I agree 100% :) Agree again, i believe Bess, but i also have just a good feeling about it. I don't know if it's me, but the closer the time comes to them starting the shoot, the more excited i am getting..it's like there's a special kind of magic in the air...POTC2 magic :) Sure..so that means all the MANY people who saw the "hints" accactly the same were wrong and you are right :) So be it Mmm..that all depends on which spirituality or religion you believe in :) In Native American beliefs the moon is good. I believe the moon was only "bad" through the curse. I hope the monkey comes back (Sorry Geoff , she's absolutely adorable, and as Geoffrey said on the lost dis/becoming Barbossa, he's the smartest of him all! Oh and Barbossa without the monkey wouldn't be the same imo :)

From the 20th of Januari Life and Death of Peter Sellers playes in the Dutch theaters. It's already in Belgium and soon in France too, so maybe it will still come to the US theaters too? Although..it's been on tv.. Weird all this.

I LOVE THIS Check it out: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2125038/1/ Someone did it, someone made a sea chantie about Barbossa, high time i says

Hi all, There's not much posting but i know there's Barbossa fans out there. There's some groups out there for him already (link to Lost Soul Of Barbossa is on the home page of this one, there is to be no rivality, but i hope, some osrt of "Brotherhood of Barbossa" ), but i really felt i wanted to start one of my own, and it will eventually be a busy group i hope. I say there cannot be enough places to discuss this interesting character (to say the least) :) Addy: http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/Barbo...settings?mode=1

If Jack and Barbossa would have continued the sword fight, Barbossa would have won. I recall seeing Jack run away from him, never the other way around, Barbossa is simply the better sword fighter, and so i Will. Watch it again, it's been discussed in many places on the net, and sofar you are the only one who didn't notice Barbossa not beeing "sprawled out" on that mount anymore when the monkey climbes it. Oh, i didn't realise that, i meant what i said no hard feelings either :) Thank you, and sorry for calling you Sparrow fan. I'm glad you're not from the same corner, and sorry for being a little sensitive on the subject, but on two other boards it usually ís the Sparrow fan type who totally bash the fact of Barbossa coming back because Jack killed him and they think it's unfair etc..and not credible. It's a fiction movie, and they also said it's to be the last theme ride movie, so the third would be great anyways I personally hope Jack and Barbossa will settle their differences and become a duo.. Think about that, the two of them against the rest of the oceans..what pirate movie that would make I agree many sequels s*ck, simple truth, let's hope this won't...i just feel real good about it. Afterall they made the cursed pirate thing look só real and acceptable, i'm sure it will be a great sequel
-
I totally agree. All is Jack this and Jack that! Without Barbossa he won't be as much fun anyhow, they need each other..and Barbossa IS coming back weather they like it or not (they being the Sparrow fans) AARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Lady Barbossa YOU GO GIRL! Oh and, i just saw the Black Swan the other day,...who says POTC is cheesy? You're so right Stacy, those old "Classics" everyone talks about...now THEY are cheesy! Double Quote: OH YEAH...me too, i can't wait...he's sooooo...delisciously bad.... : It's something i wonder about though, when the monkey climbes the mount and takes the coin...Barbossa is already gone, and the chest wide open...so he must've woken up or been risen or whatever..before Jack the monkey became cursed again... God...give it a rest mate, THAT arguement is getting old! He IS coming back weather you like it or not, and gimme a break mate..he's been UNDEAD all along and no thought THAT was illogical so why would him coming back to life be so? Why don't ya write to Hollywood and ask them to make a show for all of ye Jack Sparrow lovers..."The Sparrow bunch"(That includes daddy Keith and whomever more you want in it ) Last time i checked the movie was called Pirates of the Caribbean, not Pirate of the Caribbean. Jack is important, and fun, but he's not what the movie is about! Fully agree again, i like Jack, but he's a comedian...i mean come on..Barbossa is the réál pirate there! Oh and uh....i hate to say this, but i have yet to see óne fight where mr Sparrow actually won (sword fight.) He won everyone of them by cheating, even killing Barbossa! He shot Barbossa while he looked in the opposite direction, that to me is like shooting him in the back. If he was the hero he's made to be, he would have won fair and square, with the sword! Absolutely! I would be bored to death, the interacting between them is what made the movie more then just funny, but exciting too. I'm still trying to get Dutch people to get together, two i know are already making pirate clothes for the POTC 2 premiere, and me ofcourse, i want something to start to grow here and i will do my best to get it to happen, if it takes me the rest of my life AMEN! ;) Oh, uhm..no hard feelings here either 'Just a fierce Barbossa follower

That is so cute :) I love it, i'm forwarding thisto people with children! Thanks for showing us this

He'll win hands down! :) And ofcourse this means an Oscar too YAYY GO GEOFFREY! Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett will lead a small Australian contingent down the red carpet at next month's Golden Globes ceremony after a number of high-profile candidates including Naomi Watts and Mel Gibson were snubbed. The nominations for the 62nd Annual Golden Globes ceremony - a reliable indicator for February's Academy Awards - were announced at a ceremony in Los Angeles this morning. Australia has four nominees - Kidman, Blanchett, Julian McMahon and Geoffrey Rush. Australians snubbed by the Golden Globes voters included Watts, Gibson, Anthony LaPaglia, Frances O'Connor and screenwriter Stuart Beattie. The Golden Globes is one of the most influential awards ceremonies on the Hollywood calendar and a nomination can revive or confirm an Oscar contender's chances for the Academy Awards. A snub can take the heat off an Academy Award campaign and dash an actor's chances of gaining an Oscar nomination. Kidman's Golden Globe nomination in the best actress in a drama category for her controversial film Birth revives her Oscar chances, although experts say she still faces an uphill battle. AdvertisementAdvertisement "Because Birth is a suspense film they tend not to do well at the Oscars," American Oscar expert Tom O'Neil, an author of the book Movie Awards, told AAP. "I don't expect to see Nicole at the Oscars." Kidman has plenty of admirers in the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) - a group of about 90 journalists who vote for the Golden Globes - so her nomination is not a great surprise. The HFPA has nominated Kidman five times in the past four years (twice in 2001 for The Others and Moulin Rouge) and has awarded her a Globe three times. Kidman's competitors for the Golden Globe are: Scarlett Johansson (A Love Song For Bobby Long), Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake), Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby) and Uma Thurman (Kill Bill Vol. 2). Blanchett's Golden Globe nod firms the chameleon actress as Australia's best chance for an Oscar. Blanchett was nominated today for best supporting actress for her portrayal of screen great Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator and it makes her the favourite in the category for the Oscars. Blanchett is also a favourite of the HFPA after three previous Golden Globes nominations with one win in 1998 (Elizabeth - best actress) A pleased Blanchett appeared on American TV soon after the announcement and she admitted when The Aviator's director Martin Scorsese first asked her to play Hepburn she was terrified. "When Marty called me I was was gobsmacked," Blanchett said on Good Day Live, an American morning show on Rupert Murdoch's Fox TV Network. "I'm glad he didn't see me because I was blushing and the backs of my knees were sweating I was so thrilled that he wanted me to play Hepburn. "Then I hung up and just got completely terrified because the weight of expectation behind playing a role like Hepburn was very daunting." McMahon scored his Golden Globe nomination in the best actor in a TV drama category for his role as a deviate plastic surgeon in Nip/Tuck. Rush, the Oscar and Golden Globe winner in 1997 for Shine, was nominated for best actor in a TV mini-series or TV movie for his performance as comedian Peter Sellers in The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. The movie was not shown in US cinemas, but instead had its debut on American premium cable TV network HBO so it qualified for the Globes' TV category. Rush is competing against Jamie Foxx (Redemption), Mos Def (Something the Lord Made), William H Macy (The Wool Cap) and Patrick Stewart (The Lion In Winter). LaPaglia and Gibson would be considered the greatest Australian Golden Globes snubs this year. LaPaglia, the star of the top-rating US TV series Without A Trace, won the Golden Globe last year in the best actor TV drama but could not even manage an invite this year. McMahon, Michael Chiklis (The Shield), Denis Leary (Rescue Me), Ian McShane (Deadwood) and James Spader (Boston Legal) received the nominations. Gibson's The Passion of the Christ surprisingly was not nominated in the foreign language category despite grossing more than $US600 million worldwide. Watts had three potential films up for nomination - The Assassination of Richard Nixon, I Heart Huckabees and We Don't Live Here Anymore. It may not be a death blow to her Oscar hopes. Last year she was snubbed when the Golden Globes nominations were announced, but several weeks later the Oscar voters rewarded her with a nomination for 21 Grams. Beattie, the Australian screenwriter for Collateral, missed out today. O'Connor, a Golden Globe nominee for Madame Bovary in 2001, could also feel disappointed. Her co-stars in Iron Jawed Angels - Hilary Swank (actress) and Anjelica Huston (supporting actress) - were nominated today in Globes' TV Mini-Series or TV Movie categories. The Golden Globes will be announced on January 16. The Academy Awards nominations will be announced on January 25 and the Oscar ceremony is scheduled for February 27. Australian nominees Best Actress - Drama: Nicole Kidman - Birth Best Supporting Actress - Movie Cate Blanchett - The Aviator Best Actor - TV Drama Julian McMahon - Nip/Tuck Best Actor - TV Mini-Series or TV Movie Geoffrey Rush - The Life and Death of Peter Sellers - AAP

I'm jinxed, i know it for certain now, every actor, well almost every, i liked..they've died. I am sad to say Jimmie F. Skaggs who played mr Scully in Cutthroat Island died of cancer earlyer this year. http://www.keepmedia.com/ShowItemDetails.d...10030&oliID=226 I liked his character very much and tried to find more pics&general stuff about him but there's not much out there. Anyone who has/knows of good pictures of either Scully (portraits, not screencaptures) or Dawg Brown, please tell me, i am searching my butt off.

Oh yeah... You looked at it a lot more "experienced" then i did. I wouldn't have noticed. I just looked at it from entertaintment point of view. I honestly wouldn't know where one can get it, i just came across it by coincidence in a Dutch shop.

Hey all, i found a dvd of a new version of Treasure Island macde in 2002. Does anyone know it? It has kevin Zegers and Jack Palance in it and i have to admit i like it more then the original, it's not so romatic and sweet... more realistic pirate action. I found it for only 5 euro and i think it was a good buy :)

I feel precisely the same, cool rockstar or not, to me he's a creepy old drunk (sorry fans, no offense..just my feelings..). I have to say though, those links proof nothing. They're the same kind of rumours that have been printed again and again, gimme Gore, Jerry or even Bess telling me, THEN i will believe it.

Phew...that's a loooong time off. When they said 2006 i thought somewhere in the beginning of te year, not halfway through... Oh well...upstair to go and see the lost disk again

Hi, i could've asked in private but i thought if you cannot say anything you'll say so and if you can everyone can read it. Someone just told me she'd read the new movies are coming out only Oktober 2006 and spring 2007. Naturally that's shocking..so late, dear god.. I just wanted to ask you if you knew anything and are allowed to tell. I guess not but one can ask :)

So, this is the dream of everyone here i think. I've done some amature stuff and know i can act so i dang surely could be an extra, if i had the right look and for some things..i might BUT..what happens when a foreigner is asked to come, you have to come over yourself right? I mean pay? There's some people here who say "Don't give up the dream, go for it, you never know" but i don't have a dime to go travelling to the USA.. So..who knows about this stuff, how such things go? This is the reason why by the way, open castings..everyone is allowed to write, they're looking for any kind of extra's! Open Casting for POTC I SOOOO want to go for it and write, send pic etc. but...the dang money I am down to earth and am trying to tell friends i am on with right now, there's thousants of americans who want this, why would they go for foreign extra's? And if, they will NOT pay for me to come over, come on.., look what they write: You may not be considered for extra roles when you live in other cities or countries There are enough actors/extras in Los Angeles that can be used to fill our calls. *sigh*. Any info would be great. Marjon.

I just wondered something else. How much of a coincidence is it that Johnny Depp just bought an Island in the Bahama's? It was said to be an island of the Bahama's, in some interview on a video i have, sent from someone in Ozz. Might not be a coincidence at all...
