Who's going in garb and who's going pirate "lite"?

I've been helping my friend decorate her living room in island caribbean style. We are acquiring pictures with the ocean and palm trees and adding rattan accents. For my own house, I look for period looking furniture and accessories. It hasn't been that difficult even considering I live in the middle of the desert. It turns out I had a perchant for the english colonial style all along and just needed to round it out to turn it pirate. So speaking of styles, the cannon is lovely but I think you need to upgrade those pink and blue recliners. May I suggest the wing backed recliner from la-z-boy. Such as the Drake or The Drake Recliner Perhaps the Washington instead The Washington

Normally I don't buy that trash, but we had a girl's night last Friday before going to AZ Ren Fest on Saturday. We drank, ate and read shyte magazines before passing out in our hotel room. Imagine our surprise on coming across this and it wasn't even advertised on the cover. Makes you wonder if they question their own credibility on this story.

I doubt very much that Iron Bess will comment on this as she is a highly regarded Disney employee. Besides, you can't believe everything you read on page 14 for the Star magazine.

Can't this weekend. It's the youngest birthday and I promised him a laser tag party at Fiddlesticks. The following weekend, (I know, pirates' weekend), I'm off to Kronenberg for a pirate educational weekend with Jamaica Rose of No Quarter Given at the Loyal Order of Renacting Enthusiasts.

What be your shirt size? I rummage the local thrift stores for shirt that can be converted into pirate shirts. I look for rough cotton or linen with buttoned downs.
