Soldiers on Horses?!? But I don't have a horse... Now if you can find someone to loan me one ... I would happily change my portrayal from infantry to dragoon... Oddly enough, I had a dream about horseback riding through the fort and down the path the other night. WEIRD! Oh my GOD I love these ideas. I didn't get involved in any living history/immersion stuff, since PiP was my first event, but I could certainly get involved for future events. No, but we could work that into a skit....

Thanks for all the congrats guys! It was a loooong road. But yes, now I can say that you are all certifiable and in about 2 years I can involuntarily commit you. Ninjas BEWARE.

Going through these photos has made me have to come to terms with EXACTLY how drunk I got Sunday....

Hee! Thanks guys. I actually slept a full 8 hours yesterday for the first time in about 3 years! It was GLORIOUS! You can't really tell in the pics, but the sleeves on the robe had these loooong parts that hung down, like a furisode kimono. I kept my cell phone in one and lip gloss and a compact in the other. Thus I was always in touch with the family (who sent helpful messages like "Look this way!") and could always appear fresh, even after 2 hours of sitting. I begin my first official job January 5, with the title "Clinical Therapist". My pants, they are quite fancy, no?

Glad you guys made it home safe and sound - and thanks for all you did to make the event unforgetable!

My first PiP was spectacular - and that is largely thanks to the Bone Island Buccaneers. You guys put together an incredible event! I can't wait for next year!

Even Dawn? Well done, indeed, sir! She's a bit obscure for most! Wasn't she a redhead who was a pin up drawing? She married the god of death or something like that? Aye, she is the Goddess of birth and rebirth and the lover of Cernnunos, AKA the God of death (in this particular mythology anyway). She is one of the elder Gods and can travel across all the planes, with the proper sigil. The roses on one arm are the key to hell and the chains on the other are the key to heaven. As of Monday when we left, I heard they were staying an extra day....can anyone confirm that? and does anyone know how long of a drive they were planning on? I can confirm they were planning on staying an extra day, but I have no idea how long a drive they were accounting for.

Ye can thank me training at Disney University, wherein we had it drilled into our collective heads of knuckle that no matter what happens "on set", "guests" should never know anything is awry. So while one part of me may have wanted to hop around and drop a few choice obscenities, the fact that there was an audience precluded it.
