Hey, it could be a pirate wide "messing" because I'm not limited to just Bilge. Even though he makes himself a more then ample target. I'm back bumping now that I'm not Mr. Grumpy anymore so Yaaaaar! to all and come by tonight. Truthfully, the most fun is definitely the IRC room where we all banter and make fun of each other (but I guess we enjoy each others' company as well). Now Bilgies website supported IRC has never worked for me so I'm making myself available to all that need a little guide to help get in there. I use MyIRC to get into the chat room which works rather well. The downside is it costs $20.00 after 30 days of free use. At least you all get 4 shows before you decide whether or not to join but I found it entertaining enough. Send me a PM or post here if anyone needs help getting in. The program is a tad over whelming at first but I'll help you get to the area ya need be going. edit: Oh snap! I forgot to mention that tonight is the first time my "project" is going to be mentioned on air during After Dark. Since I'm not a turd I still refuse to mention openly here but I think you crafty buggers can find where I have hidden it here at the pub.

I'm pretty sure it's a public symbol. It seems to come from the makes of HoloKate which is a company that offers the marking to all ID printer companies. I'm finding some pretty good deals, I must say. Right now it looks like I can have full color plastic IDs and mark them at about 10-15 dollars a piece to the public. I just don't want to jump the gun. I really want a quality piece to sell before I start offering. I'll check out some royalty free pictures for a background and figure out a few other things. Yaaaar

Exactly what I was thinking. For the address it could be whatever anyone wants or a default of "1 Secret Cove Island, Unknown 00000". lol I'm not even talking about a crap piece of printed paper laminated. Nay, I'm talking just like a drivers license, plastic back with dual sided printing with the pyrate rules on the back lol. Full color with a neat background and even a YAAAAR watermarking or something haha. I'm running with this idea and just shopping around. Sure.. it's a completely random idea but hey.. that's business. edit: the best part is this whole discussion is under the radar as most people don't care what I would think about "Gypsy skirt thingy" and have already passed over. mwuhahaha only you special pyrates know whats going on here. edit2: The holo designs aren't all that spiffy looking but it would still make it look more quality for the purchase. Not with one of my security IDs. The fakes would be spotted and the ninja shot on site. Cannibal already pushed me.. seriously, I'm online right now looking at printers and services lol. I'm also really into small home businesses so it may work to my advantage. lol

It's kind of like a drivers license, except its a license for the seas. In order to actually be a pirate you must be holding said Pirate Card. In the event that anyone does something considered UN-Pirate that card must be surrendered upon demand of any other Card carrier. The card must be returned once a piratey act that is deemed worthy enough to make up for or a lesson be learned if there is a lack of pirate ventures. these cards also have an alphanumeric coding that limits ones ability. From rum runner to city sacker as issued by the BBB (better buccaneering bureau) Maybe I should just photoshop some of them for the whole pub lol.

I feel like such a terrible pirate. I mean here I am worried about de-skirting a lass =( Someone should have pulled my pirate card lol.

I don't think there should be any kind of "norm" with really any kind of pirate themed event. I really like that there are all types of faces (characters) and I don't want anyone to think I'm making fun of them. There were even vampire pirates at the con and I thought it was pretty cool. I'm sure you're right and who knows, she may have been grabbed in the wrong way many times throughout her stay. Its just that if I had a hat that was six feet wide, I wouldnt be annoyed when people bumped into it lol.

I think it was one of the little hooks or whatever attaches the coin to the netting that did the catching. Either way... I felt dirty and ashamed, which is hard to achieve while intoxicated. =)

I have a question for the ladies that wear these gypsy "skirts" thingies with the dangling coins on them. Now those things have to catch just about every piece of cloth that gets near them so I'm asking if you all understand this. This weekend at the con I was in the main bar during a pirates charles set. Many pirates were packed into the place and dancing was plentiful, mostly by ladies wearing this gypsy attire. I squeeze by one lady and my vest got caught on a coin and pulled the lady back toward me as we walked in opposite directions. She shot me the dirtiest, meanest look I have seen in a long time and had this disgusted look on her face. When I tried to explain quickly over loud music that I was caught on her skirt and not trying to be a dirty pirate the..... (starts with a B ) spun around like I was just the scum of the earth. Now I know this has to happen all the time, but do all you ladies immediately think there's some nasty guy just trying to pull you close for snuggle times or something? I felt kinda bad about it but what was a drunk pirate to do?

Is anyone from the pub still friggin hung over from the week/end? That was an insane gathering and I hope yall had at least half as much fun as I did. Who would have thought that it is still possible to be hung over 3 days later. lol. Yaaaaaar btw I missed you mates at the pub. =) EDIT: Oh and also btw, please excuse my crabbiness of late.
