This particular item in back on the market, although not yet through Museum Replcas Ltd. It's being offered through By the Sword,Inc.The going price is $235.00,unsharpened,and not including carrying charges. I've gotten enrolled with MyArmoury.com.and some of the folks there think quite highly of the current status of these items. 1.)1085 carbon steel. 2.)Heat tempered and tested 3.)Full tang. That's what they're stating in writing, and I guess your could contact the BBB locally if you're not satisfied. By the Sword,Inc. is located at: P.O.Box 07282 Ft. Meyers,Fl.,(I forgot the Zip Code). 1-877-433-9719

I'm truly coveting this little bit of plunder: ... a Faberge egg called "The Memory of Azov" ... held at the Kremlin Armoury Museum in Moscow. I asked Mr. H. to plunder it for me for Easter, but he declined. He did suggest, however, that such a jewel heist would make an excellent plot for a thriller novel ... or the next "Ocean's" sequel. Cheers, Hester

Has anyone had any communication with Armour Class (Scotland) in the last month or so? I ordered a sword back on November 10th and they charged my credit card for the deposit. I asked via email for status on February 14th, February 24th, and March 4th. All three requests have gone unanswered. Anyone heard from them lately? TIA.

For an added touch to my "pirate" bar I'm looking for a statue of a pirate male or female. Female would be a lot "funner." Now I know where you can get suits of armor but I just cant find a statue that is around 5-6 feet tall. Any ideas? I tried e-bay but the shipping would be outragous.

Before i get keelhauled for spamming, just a reassurance to the moderators, this isnt one of those 'oh my god click this link' just to help me out. I currently play a pirate MMO, browser of course (so I can pirate at work) and would just like to let you lot know. Its new(ish), quite large, and rather fun. Yes, if you click the link I post, I do get a little kickback to help me out, but its one of those games that I really enjoy playing, and hope you lot would too. Basically, Pirates, Pirate Gangs, Ship Battles (currently in testing), Training, Killing/Pirating/Crime. All the stuff to keep you amused for 5 minutes/10 hours a day! Rule The Seas Right, theres the link. F…

Just visited the book store and noticed several copies of "The Complete Idiots Guide to Pirates." I could not resist a look, but now I wish I had. Said something like; All your clothes should be cotton? Calico is a good pattern? You must wear an ear ring? WOW! They may have something right in that book, but it ain't worth the time to find it. Don't bother with this one!

Here is a new website for a fellow pirate craftsman you may not be aware of: Captain Goldtooth Ron (Captain Goldtooth) is truly a master at his craft. He has made these wonderful piratical mugs, steins and goblets for many years but you can now find him online. I've picked up several over the past 15 years at his KC Renaissance Festival shop and just wanted to share his work with you all. The website is pretty nice and has a lot of fun piratical tidbits of humor and such.

Scratch, dent, wire brush, sand blarst? How may I be agin' an acoustic guitar without destroyin' its function? Metal parts can get soaked in pool acid to remove the crome. Headstock can get some curves sanded into it to remove the "signature" shape. GAOP straps? Any ideas out there?
