I went to Disneyland today, haven't been there since Sept. 26. I wanted to go for my birthday yesterday, but had to settle for today instead. On the Pirates ride they finally painted a pic of Captain Barbossa on the opposite wall of Captain Jack Sparrow. When you first enter the ride look to the wall on the right and there he is. I was so happy to see that and also said, "It's about damn time! It's not all about Jack!" Yay, Barbossa now has his own drawing on the Pirates ride, woo-hoo! BTW, on a side note what's the deal with starting way earlier with the Christmas decorations? The tree was already up!! Halloween was just last Tuesday, sheesh, that was cra…

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace for me. I'll be watching Attack of The Clones Straight after. Just a shame I haven't got Revenge of the Sith yet as I could follow on with that before finally getting into the decent Star Wars films!

Haunted A tale from the 1700s grabbed John Stimpson and wouldn't let go By Don Aucoin, Boston Globe Staff October 4, 2006 PRINCETON -- In the shadow of Mount Wachusett, a soft rain has begun to fall on a roadside cemetery where John Stimpson is gazing at an 18th-century gravestone that is curiously well-preserved. Article Tools ``Here she is. Martha Keyes," Stimpson says. ``She's the woman who's haunting the mountain still." He is only half-kidding. Maybe less than half. When it comes to the tale of Martha Keyes and her daughter, Lucy -- whom one historian called ``the Lost Child of Wachusett Mountain " -- Stimpson is like a lot of folks in this small town: tre…

For those of you that take in interest in such as this.... (Sigh) They have dismantled the Black Pearl over on her home soundstage and are in the process of removing the hydraulic system that tossed her about for the at sea shots and the Kraken attack. (Is that wailing I hear???) This particular set has been standing so long we are all feeling a little down today. This stage however (and the others) are being turned over to National Treasure 2 when it begins filming early next year. And, woe be it to me to tell you all but…. Captain Jack Sparrow wraps his film work this Weds and will be getting back to his life as he once knew it. Of course... that's not sayin…
