I've decided to be in the Rehoboth Beach, Delaware Polar Bear Plunge. Any pirates care to join me? It benifits the Special Olympics...but I think I'm just doing it because I have a screw loose. Here's the website: http://www.sode.org/plunge/ This would be a really memorable way to meet some area pirates. If nothing else you could come see me turn ice blue in my bikini....though I'd probley turn you to stone or blind you with my winter palor!

The new Pirate Soul Museum is set to open Jan. 5 in Key West. Lots of actual artifacts, documents and interactive exhibits, including a dark part where you're under the deck as Blackbeard fights to the death above. There is also an animatronic Blackbeard and other cool stuff. Check it out at http://www.piratesoul.com -- The Captain

I don't know how many folks on this board are from the UK, but here goes. I've just confirmed the date for the third annual South West Pirate Festival, which this year will be held at Morwellham Quay, Devon. The programme will include living history, skirmish, shanties, theatre, puppets and kid's activities.
