Hello, 1st time poster here. im a counselor at a camp and we are having a treasure island/pirate theme, and im in charge of coming up with names for each of the 10 teams, they all need to be pirate related and have a color in the name or very obviously implied. example: black team- blackbeards revenge. if anybody has any ideas, the help would be greatly appreciated. and if its any inspiration to help me.... im related to sir francis drake aka 'el draqui'.

As, no doubt, the news has already reached some ears here, the sad duty falls upon me to inform you that my brother Captain Jigme perished in a shipwreck off the coast of Hispaniola. The Good Ship Bodhisattva was attempting to rescue survivors from the wreck of her sister ship Tara. Reports from the land indicate that there were no survivors. The ships were too far out, and the swells far too heavy for any man or boat to make shore. Once my application to come aboard is approved, I will be posting directly, under my own name. May the Author of all that is Good bless you and protect you. Quartermaster James Hunt of the Good Ship Fearless

I live in Upstate, South Carolina and am interesting in finding a group interested in piratical reenactments. Is the Columbia group Pirates of the Carolina Coast still around? Anyone, anyone (Beuller, Beuller)?

I hear the proper thing is to buy a round? Bartender, one round for this lot, and keep them coming. A tankard of KillDevil for me ifin you please. Names Thomas, Thomas Neede. Goode to meet you. I've been poking around a bit, (sorry 'bout that ma'am). I like the yarns being spun around here. Between Captain Red Wake and his crew, and all the players in Port Royal, I'm thinking to open meself a pub in one of those fine tales. Anyway, belly-up to the bar and give us a proper how-do-you-do. Drinks on me.

So I was talking with a ren fair friend of mine. It started out like this, I wanted to go to a fair and be apart of it but I don't have my swag yet so my friend was telling me it's very easy to put together a Gypsy outfit. Then I told them that I love pirates and don't want to stray from that and they told me Gypsy's are nothing more then pirates of the land. They rob and pillage just the same. What do you think about this statement?

Most female pirates I have seen wear those bloody skirts...not pants. (I detest skirts and certainly wouldn't sail with 'em.) Either way, I would like to see pics of some female pirates wearin pants, if there be any.

Sunday 1/7 One of the Herb Garden gardeners, Judy, was patrolling the fruit groves when she came a cross a group of about 10 Japanese tourists. They were gorging themselves on the loquat trees, yanking off fruit and stuffing themselves like gluttons. Judy was so shocked that she was rendered speechless. Screwing up her courage (since she knew she would need back up from security to stop the voracious spree) she took up her walkie-talkie (finding her voice again) and yelled PIRATES IN THE FRUIT GROVE!! PIRATES IN THE FRUIT GROVE! There was dead silence on the other end. Finally someone said what?!!! Judy blurted out what was going on and security sent some guards over …

Ok I have to ask this because when I get my swag I know I'll be doing it. How many of you have just got up for no reason and put on your swag and went out either to the store, pub, friend, ect, whatever reason just because and what were other peoples reactions? A friend and I use to dress as the Blue Brothers for no reason other then we enjoyed entertaining people and it was different. People loved it and some people didn't know what to think. I'll be doing to same with my Pirate swag
