Past Life Analysis For me... Your past life diagnosis: I don't know how you feel about it, but you were male in your last earthly incarnation. You were born somewhere in the territory of modern North India around the year 1425. Your profession was that of a builder of houses, temples and cathedrals. Your brief psychological profile in your past life: You had the mind of a scientist, always seeking new explanations. Your environment often misunderstood you, but respected your knowledge. The lesson that your last past life brought to your present incarnation: Your lesson is to study, to practice and to use the wisdom that lies within the psychological sciences and …

This is an all encompassing holiday for those of you who celebrate Lief Ericson Day, Columbus Day or any other explorer who failed to pull over for directions. Incompetent European Navigation Day celebrates the finest in accidental, continental discoveries by the world's most reknowned men ever to claim that "I know where I'm going". This holidy can be celebrated in one of several varied ways... Stuff eight people into a rowboat and go rowing about blindfolded. Claim your neighbor's yard for Spain and take all of their jewelry. Destroy all of the personal records of a total stranger. Go on a camping trip and set fire to the car once you are in the wilderness.

History Lesson Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can. Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960. Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both wives lost their children while living in the White House. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. Both Presidents were shot in the head. Now it gets really weird. Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy. Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln. Both were assassinated by Southerners. Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson. A…

I am limited in my pet peaves to just a few golden calves which I worship with great zeal. Blurry pictures. Why do people post them? "Look! I just got back from Russia and I posted my headache-indusing, miasmic-half-lit, FBI-Satellite-image-from-the-50s, family photo album!" Sorry. I just got out of a thread where a guy posted over 70+ blurry images of his trip. It looks like a drug trip. Why do people post the lousy shots? Especially when they outnumber the good ones? Why? No, really. Why?

Dealt with two close friends breaking up with their significant others this week, so I'm a-putting on my Doctor Phil advice hat: Those with significant others: Give 'em a smooch, wine-em, dine-em, and bed-em. Those without significant others: You lucky slobs... Seriously, I just can't do much more sympathy drinking before really hurting myself.

Ok there's a killer heat wave across the country. But here in San Diego, Escondido topped 112 today. Tomorrow similar. That has never happened here. It's like walking out into a blast furnace. I've been to Las Vegas and been in 116 heat, did I notice a difference. Nope. I want to go to the beach! Hmmmm, 40 minutes away, ya me and the rest of the inland dying to find cooler weather. Oh gawd I don't even want to think about how much my electric bill is going to be from having to run the air conditioner almost every day and some nights for the entire month of July. How are the rest of you holding up?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v426/Lad...onegan/4043.jpg this is a pattern I got to make a new more comfortable and easy to use fishtail. Now along with a new fishtail, it also stands to reason that this mermaid should have a new look right? So what should the new look be? from fishtail color to the look of her more human half. I hope to wear this for next piratefest. My Mom dosen't have the time to make it this year because she has to have hip surgery, and I have to ask permission of the directors if they will allow a fantasy characters in the cast. Keep in mind that this is a family show, and that means NO TOPLESS MERMAID ! No, I really do not like the top …

There are no words. Two hundred and twenty tons on a barge. In case you think that this is PhotoShopped, I also have pictures of it going on the barge, but that will have to wait until Saturday. This is the Lamb House, relocating from Palmetto FL to Ruskin via Tampa Bay right through the Sunshine Skyway. The 98-year-old house will be used as a retreat for ministers and missionaries. It's a good thing that someone saved this old place or I might have done something unwise/stupid with money. I have watched this house for 43 years, afraid that it would be torn down to make way for "progress." I once broke in to look around (it was abandoned[!] at the time) and found tha…

Arrrrr...I come bearing gifts to this board, and my gifts, in addition to my fine self, are some of the word play games I started at a previous board. The first one is, "The Last Word Becomes the First Word" The game is as the title says. You take the last word of the last poster's line and make it the first word of your own. Here are the Rules: 1) All the rules must be followed. 2) The first rule is the most important rule. 3) You must absolutely follow Rule #1. 4) Rule #1 must always followed before Rule #3. 5) Disregard all the above Rules, except for Rule #1. 6) Don't post twice in a row. 7) Always use the last word of the last person's line. 8) If two p…
