From The Star (UK) Depp in vigil for ill daughter By THOMAS WHITAKER and NICK PARKER March 08, 2007 JOHNNY DEPP was last night keeping a vigil for his seriously ill daughter at a British hospital. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor was due to start filming a new movie in England when LILY-ROSE, seven, became sick. He and his partner VANESSA PARADIS have spent the last nine days with their little girl, who is in a “serious condition”. The couple, who live in France with Lily-Rose and their four-year-old son Jack, have been coming into the hospital via a staff entrance. They travel in a blacked-out people carrier with their security team. A hospital source said: …

I've seen many pretty and/or funny and/or very poetic signatures. I have my opinions about them, but how are yours??? How the "game" works is simple: you just post what u think about the (current) signature of the user's ssignature that posted above u. example: Black Anne Rose: ^like it ^.^ Someone That Is Also A Member: ^Nah, don't really like it, sorry or Black Anne Rose: ^like it ^.^ Someone That Is Also A Member: ^awesome!!! This topic is not meant for insults, just to get to know what ppl think... or smthn like that... please do not insult each other. u can say u dont really like it, but explain y u dont or y u do Well... who begins???

Well I have a new cat. My best friend Osa”s neighbor died suddenly and his girlfriend was left with his 3 cats plus her own 3 cats in a single apartment. She found a home for all but one and was going to take her to the animal shelter if I didn’t take her. She’s 6 years old a brown/grey tuxedo tabby. She beautiful, sweet, gentle and very affectionate. I’m her 3rd human. Her given name I am sad to say is Chubby. Yes she isn’t the svelteist kitty around but how mean to name her Chubby! I am trying to wean her off the name and I want to rename her Bouhaki the oldest known cat name. Bou is ancient Egyptian for house and haki means ruler. Yes those Egyptians understood. ;-)…

A MAYONNAISE JAR AND 2 CUPS OF COFFEE When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee. A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the j…

ARIES (Mar 21- Apr 19) Drinking style: Impulsive Aries people like to party and sometimes don't know when to call it a night. Their competitive streak makes them prone to closing-time shot contests. They're sloppy, fun drunks, and they get mighty flirty after a couple tipples. Getting Aries people drunk is a good way to get what you want out of them, should other methods fail. Aries can become bellicose when blotto, but they will assume that whatever happened should be forgiven (if not forgotten) by sunrise. They can be counted on to do the same for you - - so long as you haven't gone and done anything really horrible to them last night, you sneaky Gemini. TAUR…

I've been rambling on and off about my pirate themed living room and I am now finished enough to put it up on my webpage and focus on something else (like the kitchen). The only part not completed is POTC model diorama using the old 70s MPC models. No rush on that one, though. You can see (reams and reams and reams) of material on it here.

I know there are some deep thinkers out there. So here is a thread to let all of that out. The silly as well as the deep thoughts are welcome. Why is it that my relations always get stale after a few years? I just want to spice things up again and have fun. Every time I change course to follow the wind there seems to be a storm brewin'. Meanin': I just changed from a third shift job that I hated to a second shift job I love. Now I find out that I can't goto Pirate Fest in Port Washington due to requirments at work. Some how this seems just not fair.

10.) When Spock mind probes him, Spock gets hammered. 9.) Wakes up next to a Klingon chick at least once a week. 8.) Starts the ship’s self-destruct sequence just to screw with the yeoman who blew him off in the officer’s lounge. 7.) Each time you discover a new planet he tells Spock to scan the surface for cheap scotch and loose females. 6.) The first thing he says when negotiating with Romulans is, “So, what’s the ale situation?” 5.) McCoy tells him, “I’m a doctor, Jim, not a bartender!” 4.) He keeps slipping down to the engineering room to “discuss ancient Scottish traditions” with Scotty. 3.) Giggles every time Spock says they should launch a “deep space probe.…

Modern Wreck Divers have been accused of pyracy because they plunder shipwrecks and recover artifacts from them. In reality they are actually saving these artifacts from the destructive forces of Mother Nature. Check out the nautical treasures that await scuba divers who explore sunken shipwrecks. http://www.shipwreckexpo.com/shipwreckdivi...actrecovery.htm

Ok, I'm putting together this big diorama using three of the old 70's POTC skeleton models. The diorama will include Dead Man's Raft, Fate of the Mutineers and Dead Men Tell No Tales (repositioned to be holding a spyglass looking at a brass mermaid I'm hoping to have a girl I met recently make for me.) They're all going to be setting on a piece of glass painted greyish-blue to represent water which will be sitting on a brown plank shelf in my pirate-themed living room. Now, the question is...what color should I make the clothing? Bright cheesy Disney colors? Or more earthy POTC movie colors? Any particular suggestions? (Any particular model paints?) Each skeleton is wea…
