Hey all, I just thought I would inform those who know me, that this Sunday at 3:00 PM, Jessica and I (Kate Souris and I) will finally be tieing the knot... With a real live minister and everything. So from here on in, we will not only be portraying a married couple, we finally actually WILL be a married couple. As this will likely be a pretty busy weekend for both of us, I am guessing neither of us will be online much... So thanks in advance to any well wishes (or condolences) . The Caribbean Monk Seal is extinct. After five years of futile efforts to find or confirm sightings of any Caribbean monk seals — even just one — the U.S. government on Friday announced that the species is officially extinct and the only seal to vanish due to human causes. I know many of you don't watch tv....or follow the horrible news...but sometimes you gotta stay in touch and for the past few years I have been paying attention to Tim and what he had to say politically or what answers he got from politicians on his show "Meet the Press". It struck me so tragically on Friday went I heard it briefly on the news...and thought I was hearing things due to I was napping. I got up later to hear that I was not hearing things and that it tragically was true. NEW YORK(AP) A man who was carrying a rusted pirate-style sword through Macy's flagship store in Manhattan is facing charges of criminal possession of a weapon. Police say 29-year-old Lawrence Jackson was brandishing the curved sword while visiting Macy's Herald Square store Sunday with his girlfriend. He told police he was carrying the sword because he is a member of a kickball team whose players often wear pirate-themed costumes. He maintains he was on his way to a game when he was arrested.

So I went in to Wally World the other day seeking something to watch and found the movie Elizabeth with Cate Blanchett and Geoffrey Rush. Had not seen it before, it looked intresting and it was five dollars. So I take it up to the counter to check out and the Lady cards me. The movie is rated R. I told her I was old enough to buy the movie that I was 34 and she glared at me and said she HAD to see my ID, otherwise I was not taking it home. So I showed her my ID to which she studies it and glances up at me and finally hands it back and rings it up. But she still acted like I had given her a false ID. Im not sure if I should have been flattered or insulted .

I had read that Disney plans to take out the part on the ride where the caterpillar smokes from the hookah. Is this really true? They made the movie based off the book and it shows the caterpillar doing that. All these years later why would they decide to remove it? That just would be ridiculous if this is true.

I bought an AT&T DECT 6.0 with dual cordless phones and a digital answering system built in. I have had bad experience with AT&T services before but thought they may have a descent product. NOW after only a few months the battery has died and guess what I cannot find a replacement battery. I have tried Radio Shack and other various stores. I even went to an AT&T Store and they don't sell it either. Ahoy: Just back from Pyrate Con, it was first rate all around. However, what is not first rate is that some merchant in New Orleans had staff that cloned my credit card and started a charge fest. This cloning of my card has NOTHING to do with Pyrate Con or any of the vendor's there. But, it did happen at a location in New Orleans. You may want to check your credit card expenditures to make sure this didn't happen to you as well.
