Ahoy, pubmates! I've a black leather baldric I want to trade for a good leather belt. It's still in good condition, and can hold an elephant. Ok, so not an elephant, but it can hold very heavy weapons for it carried m' sword for a good few years. I'll post a picture of it soon. But for reference, it's a dragoon's baldric I purchased from G. Gedney Godwin back in 2005. Make me an offer, mates! ~Lady B

This is a replica of the actual Pardon certificate given out by Benjamin Bennet, the then governor of Bermuda, to any pirate that surrendered to him to take advantage of the Kings Pardon. This pardon was laid out in the Act of Grace, a proclamation issued in 1717 that stated that if a pirate was to surrender before a specified date to any English government official then they would be granted a pardon from their past crimes. This proclamation is also available here: http://www.etsy.com/...nd-king-georges The pardon is actual size and comes on period correct laid paper. It features the signature and seal of Benjamin Bennet and Woodes Rogers who is added as a witness…

Hello all, I am new to this forum, and, in fact this is my first post. I feel kind of awkward intruding on your bulletin board, but I was wondering if anyone was interested in this beast? He is carved from Western Red Cedar by chainsaw and stands 7 feet tall. I have lots more pictures and information. It's initial buyer backed out (the Pittsburgh Pirates haha), and he needs a good home! If you or anyone you know would be interested, please email me at msmbski@hotmail.com. Thanks for your time!

Does anyone know of a site selling close to period ear scoops or other personal hygiene items? I thought Godwin might carry such, but they are sadly lacking in what I am looking for. (Ear Scoops seem to fetch an absurdly high price on eBay.) While I'm asking, does anyone know of a good period barbering site or book? I haven't done a deep search for such, I am just hoping someone can save me some time digging.

These were made by Capt. Sterling. Except for my shortjacket and monmouth cap(which I am keeping), this is the last of my pirate kit. I never wore these outside of trying them on. They are top quality as you would expect from the maker, all hand sewn and they are lined, with slit pockets, domed pewter buttons. Waist is 32"-34" with gusset, rise is 24", inseam is 15", and the calf opening is set at about 15" with some room to move the buttons in or out. *THE BREECHES HAVE SOLD PENDING FUNDS* Thanks for looking, Bo

Not sure if this is the correct spot to post this, if not then my apologies. I enjoy making iPhone apps and one of my first apps that I made was a Pirate Skull Clock. I came up with this goofy way of telling time. The left eye would tell the time in hours, an eye patch on the right would tell whether it was am/pm, and the teeth would tell the time in minutes. It's very simple to understand the time once you learn how to read the clock. Here is a link http://itunes.apple....d398685128?mt=8 Anyway, I figured someone in these forums might find it interesting. If so, just message me and I'll send you a code to download it for free. All I ask is that if you enjoy it then …

Okay, so I posted pics of the replica coins I've been making before but they were only one sided. Still highly detailed and a great way to fill a treasure chest without breaking the bank. After numerous tries (and numerous failures) I am proud to say I know have double sided replica coins in antique gold and silver. These coins are beautifully done and each one is hand painted and look just like the pewter cast ones but since it's oven fired clay I can sell them for a much lower price. Available in packs of 4, 10, 25, 75, and 100. Send me a message for prices. Thanks.

This sword was taken from the book "The Era of the American Revolution". These swords varied with the wealth and the taste of those who carried them. This one is designed with two sheaths on the scabbard located just under the sword's clam shell which contain an eating knife and fork. The clam shell prevents loss of the utensils but still allows them to be seen even when the sword is sheathed. All grips are made from polished black horn. The double edged blade is made from fine sword steel and has an 18" fuller centered on its 25" length. The eating knife is shaped like a hunting knife with its 5&1/2" blade and could be used as such. All hardware is brass. Because of …
