William Brand
^ I've done body surfing. The tide on the Sea of Galilea was perfect for it. < I mowed the lawn in the rain today. It took an hour to get the mower working and by then it was raining so I stubbornly mowed anyway. V Ever mowed in the rain?
CrazyCholeBlack
^ Can't. I use a push reel mower & it won't cut if the grass is wet. < Should have mowed today. Took a nap on the couch instead. Hester
^ Well, I'd like to get a propane barbecue for the convenience factor, but Mr. H. insists on charcoal. We're very retro and use those little portable tripod barbecues and lump charcoal, not brickettes. But, of course, that means we can't barbecue all that often, as we need time for the coals to get hot, and we can't barbecue if it's raining. We're also continually running out of charcoal. < Looking forward to the summer season, but not really prepared for it yet. V What's the most exotic meal you've ever made on the barbecue? Red-Handed Jill
^ It's a toss-up between key lime and lemon meringue. < When I was very young, my father thought to "cure" me of what he considered to be my inordinate enjoyment of lemon meringue pie. So he sat me down and put an entire pie in front of me and ordered me to eat it. Of course, for me that was Christmas come early, so I devoured that pie with a vengeance. I had almost all of it consumed when my mom came downstairs into the kitchen, freaked out and snatched the remains of the pie. The "cure" didn't take, much to my father's chagrin.
