Hope all goes well, Silkie. Goin' in Thurs. t' have me arm reset an' casted..Not lookin' forward t' it. (Feel like I'm eight-years-old again, with a sports injury, in fact, that's where I'm goin'.) Thankfully my insurance will cover it. In th' meantime, I'm on "light duty" at work, an' I go back tomorrow. (Thank ye Goddess, I was hevin a serious case o' cabin fever!)

^ Not much, very little. My work is pretty involving, an' there's never a "not busy" moment. I can get away with a few jokes to lighten the mood, but that's pretty much it. It's a very demanding job. Everyone "needs" something, an' scramble to get t' me, t' get whatever they "need," "gimme," "I want", and "where's my..?" I call it the "four-headed hydra" < I hope Silkie is feeling better. Sorry t' hear ye've been so ill. V Changing question slightly..Wot can you NOT get away with at work?

Too angry from last night's events to get any sleep right now.

Aye, i was injured. But thankee Hester..(frankly I'm lucky t' be alive at this point.) sorry, it's challenging to type in a sling, and in tears. breathing isn't so good. My finger dson't want to cooperate.

Right now, I feel nothing but anger an' pain..with justifiable reason. 1. I was rear-ended, on my way home from work. 2. the " I never thought it was possible it could happen to me," happened. 3. I'll explain everything later..I'm up to my eyeballs with insurance paperwork, phonecalls and such. I'm so angry I'm shaking with it..

^ Probably would like t' build and reconstruct a wonderfully wide wraparound outdoor porch, or partial wraparound,(neighbors too close on one side o' me house.) Like a veranda, some sort of covered porch to keep out th' sun. Other than that, I'll probably be planting long before then. (Already purchased some small trees) ^^ Used t' run jewelry business, manufacturing and selling jewelry, and handcrafted jewelry boxes, memoirs and keepsakes with various medium. Wood was a favorite medium, along with embossments, woodcarver, woodburner. Stains, varnish and tempera paints worked best on the wood. < Occassionally gets into a shelf building craze, and I can't stop building them! V Great question, passing it along-special summer projects?

^ Sometimes ahead, sometimes behind,(one step forward, two steps back) < Thankful I don't live 150 miles to the north,(that's where some of the tornado damage took place, taking out a high school in Sweetwater, OK.) We're still under threat of severe weather for the next few days, and I pray that it doesn't hit this town, as much as I can't stand it, it is home. It's all I have. V Anyone live in 'Tornado Alley', or in 'I-35 corridor'?

Me heart goes out t' ye Hester..I live in such a neighborhood, thet would make "Extreme Makeover," rather nervous, complete with utility trucks, and garbage trucks an' such..*handing over supersonic earplugs, that block out all annoying sounds..* I forgot, I also live near to some very active train tracks too..arrg! I can hear them clanging and bangin' now!
