^ Don't know about homemade, but I swear by Gypsy Cold Care tea by Traditional Medicinals. If you feel like you could be getting sick it stops you from getting sick and if you are already sick it reduces the symptoms and gets you better faster. Best thing since sliced bread, sez I!
