Besides that low-rise thing (ugh!) there's enough room in the back of the waist to fit a purse into. I don't have big hips, but do have a well-defined waist. The nearest mall is 35 min away, and although the stores are nice, they are referred to as "third stores." Which basically means they get the fashions that were current three years ago.
