Silkie McDonough Posted January 1, 2007 Author Share Posted January 1, 2007 So here I am, at work. January 1, 2007. I'm thinking how much has changed for me since signing on to the pub so, I decided to share some ypdated info. Hands are doing fine since the surgery for Carpal Tunnel. The pain is gone! They work like new. Recovery was a long process and i still don't have all the strength back but I have no complaints. Dad has spent the last ten months in a nursing facility and had spent the year going from that facility to the hospital and back. Friday December 22 he was released to the care of my sister. Each day he is doing better We may not have him with us for long but at least he is improving. I fell in love in May and was single again by December. Life happens that way. I have been to two Pirate festivals and I love it. I am still gathering garb/kit but some day ...some day ...I may SOME DAY be ready for public exposure!
