Damnation...

"I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... I was forced to write what I would say to prevent the loss of blood, and because of the pain I suffered by speaking."~ Woodes Rogers

Hangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there!
As he was about to face the gallows there, the pirate is said to have tossed a sheaf of papers into the crowd, taunting his audience with these final words:

"My treasure to he who can understand."

Hmm...it doesn't look anything like the 'dummy' in the captain's quarters for display, does it? I think the missed the mark on the display with the polyester coat and the poet's shirt...with leather ties, don't you?

What a drab image of Sam! ugh! Do they not know fashion!? Dear God! God, I cannot stand seeing that image of him any further let alone those who be with him.

Syren... I'll bring the ratatouille with ahi tuna on the side and a roast lamb in rosemary, how's that?

Ugh, now that horrific image is stuck in my head! My crimson and black outfit is better looking that that! At least mine is fashionable!

got to live with that manikin for five months. the murel was much nicer to stand against when dressed as the captain himself. Thanks to sterlings handywork we were able to pull off a pretty good historical interpretation rather than what Nat'l Geo had put together.

Now mr. cross portraying hedrick quintor... thats a whole different immage! a complete dead ringer. you would swear Nat'l Geo used him for the model. scary, twins 300 years apart... if thats what he actually looked like.

Then there was young mr. merryweather being mistaken for john king in chicago. that picture is around somewhere- then we were able to pull it off again in Norfolk.
