CrazyCholeBlack Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Just popped in to share a few new photos of my "Sunday best". Special thanks go out to my photographer for braving the 30* weather to get these done before the holidays! I couldn't be more thrilled. Happy winter everyone! This year I'm hoping to have something new for the ball, if I can only decide on what. If indecision continues then I'll wear it again, but I do so hate wearing the same thing twice! The outfit does have matching fabric shoes. I made them myself using the left overs from the gown & petticoat. They were just a fun little project really Chole "If part of the goods be plundered by a pirate the proprietor or shipmaster is not entitled to any contribution." Hawk the QM Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 (edited) Terrifying because it's halloween? Or because of that look on my face? Or just my face? You decide. I'd be hot if I had redheaded dreads. Damn my supple brunette-ness. Halloween '08. Edited December 1, 2008 by Thequartermaster
callenish gunner Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Ladies, you both look stunning ...and quartermaster where did you find that two legged gargoyle?
Hawk the QM Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 (edited) Ladies, you both look stunning ...and quartermaster where did you find that two legged gargoyle? Yaaar take it up with my mom for giving birth to a hideous chud of a child. Ha! edit: in my defense this was taken after 6 hours of Halloween set up. I was pretty bushed. edit:#2 After thinking.. maybe I should not have post that pic here. The title does say "Who you WANNA see". Whoops. Edited December 1, 2008 by Thequartermaster
Captain Mickey Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Nice garb, mate. You also have fine taste in "accessories" as well. Nothing becomes a pyrate so much as a comely wench on 'is arm. Kenneth Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Had this pic taken at Ojai. Sewing 80 feet of rope onto that sheet, took all day but it's my favorite Sail/tent I've made thus far.. "Without caffine, I'd have no personality at all"

William Brand Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Had this pic taken at Ojai. Sewing 80 feet of rope onto that sheet, took all day but it's my favorite Sail/tent I've made thus far.. I don't know why, but that photo looks like a classic TV promotion still.
Jacky Tar Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 I don't know why, but that photo looks like a classic TV promotion still. William, I was thinkin' the very same thing... Great picture Kenneth, kudos t' the photographer!
blackjohn Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 That is a great pic! And I was thinking the same thing too, though even with the obvious 18thC paraphernalia I was thinking it looked like a still from some classic Western movie. But hey, whatever, that is a great pic! My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together.
Captain Jim Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 (edited) Y'know there is something about that picture, angle lighting whatever but it reminds me of the stills from the old Bonanza television series. Pernell Roberts maybe? Edited December 31, 2008 by Captain Jim My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
Mary Diamond Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 And here I was thinking it was just me.... Marlboro Man Kenneth Oooh, shiny!
