blackjohn
I wonder why we were kicked out of the exhibit? All things considered... the exhibit was pretty good. The collection of artifacts was amazing. The sets were equally amazing... at least most of them. Some of the clothing was... less than noteworthy. Other bits were just downright horribly wrong. But of the museum exhibits I have seen lately, I think this was the best. The follow-up exhibit is... Narnia. Narnia? C'mon... I think that's pushin' it a bit. Though I will admit the giant that was parked next to us there in the atrium of the Franklin was totally awesome. He was 15' tall at least. Red Cat Jenny
Narnia...well if it gets the kiddies started going to museums.. I have read the articles about the Wydah stuff as it progressed. Sounds great. Looks like you guys had a ball.. So who wouund up on the floor...first ? Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. Crows Nest Vintage
I took a red leather vest, a poets blouse, some costume sword items, a pair of matador pants and some nice leather boots and this was for my earlier Pirating days, for my art shows and what knot "Your pieces of eight Ye Wager soon, I shall be sparkin' some Pirate art by the light of the Moon"
Silkie McDonough
Wow! Thanks for the memories lass! You could have been in the baton & drum corps that I marched in from grade 7 through high school! All you need is the red plume that use to adorn the hat ...the name of the group? "The Buccaneers"! What else?! Only we didn't have ANYTHING that would be considered PC, or close. lol

LadyBarbossa
Fantastic images, mates! :) I be envious of yo'r time out in fine piratical attire. Crows Nest... if ye need anything whatsoever without going through eBay... there are several here on the Pub (including myself) who make piratical attire - historical authentic to historical fiction. ~Lady B Tempt Fate! an' toss 't all t' Hell!" Black Syren
That looks similar to the one I am wearing in this pic.. A close up shows that it is diffrent however. My mother helped me to sew this when my leg was broke but it did not seem too difficult. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Dara286/trident01-11.png If you got a dream chase it, cause a dream won't chase you back...(Cody Johnson Till you Can't) Â Â
