::leans over and watches the fish swimming in the water around her feet then grins nervously at Tito:: In fifteen minutes I find out what I got on me history test. Then I'll know if I really knew what I was talking about when I was writting about the Greeks.

I know where both them places be. Been to Ithaca a couple of times attending classes at Cornell and I been through Boonville on my way to Lake Ontario for a Fishing Tournament.

I'm in New Windsor, in Orange County, 65 miles north of NYC. I'll be up in the north country first week of November at the State Fire Academy in Montour Falls.

And going under a waterfall is not my idea of fun now.. I had a fist fight with my 18 year old, and I think she won. I have bruises all over, and I accidently caught her earring but it was that or not breath. She finally figured out she outweighed me. It wasn't all her fault, but I would never have hit my mom. Ever. Her... she thinks she can do what she wants, and gets help from her dad.

Takes 4 ibuprophine and decides to go for a snooze early.

*Tito and Laura jump in. The water is warm and still in the moonlit peaceful setting. The pouring rush of the waterfall can be heard across the way. Tito holds Laura guiding their way toward the waterfall. He gently bathes her hair under the water giving her a feeling of calm and relaxation. He compliments her on how lovely her tatoos look on her.

Holding tight in the warm pool they get closer to the waterfall. HERE IT COMES 1, 2, 3!!!!!!!

::gives Tito a hug as a tahnk you for tolerating her ramblingness then grabs a piece of chalk and sketches out her next possible tattoo design on a flat rock:: I thought of it last night, a flame that fades from red to orange to yellow. I prolly won't get it, but it's just a random design that I thought of. ::takes a deep breath and stands under the waterfall, letting the poundind water relax her poor abused muscles:: I need to find a new job. heh.

Im in Texas..i love Texas! But I would love to live in Sleepy Hollow for a couple of years. Or Salem. Someplace with lots of history and that supernatural eerieness! So who's up for making a haunted Pirate ship? Then we could charge admission and scare the creepies outta the peeps. i love haunted houses! So who's up for it????

Tis a cryin' shame tha' all those wonderful little spots be dissapearing. Has anyone gone to London? All around that grand 'ole city are little towns and pubs with some very interesing and funny characters. Everyone over there was so friendly, and tha best part is, even if yer under age ye can go hang out in tha pubs if ye want, so I got ta chat with all tha old english guys who were there for a glass o' ale. ::stares dreamily off into space:: I am determined ta go back there someday, no matter what it takes.

That is way too bad. But isn't there like a modern city/town of Tarrytown that has all the yahoo of today? I no thats not the same as the historical stuff but I was just wonderin.

Laura, the Program is the New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations. It's a continuing ed program for Labor Leaders. I'm using it for elective credit for my MS.

Tito, Tarrytown is indeed a small City but it more or less surrounds the old villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow. They have tried to preserve the truly historic sites (like Washington Irving's place)and save some of the local "color" but you really can't forget you're in the middle of Westchester County about 10 miles from the Bronx. 4 major interstates, two airports and two rail lines converge in the area.

My Fire Station is half a block from George Washington's last residence during the American Revolution. My home is less than a mile from the Continental Army's last encampment and most of the locals couldn't care less. Sadly, that's why those places are slowly going the way of the Dinosaurs.

I'd love to go to Tarrytown! The creepy huge house they used for the 2 movie versions of Dark Shadows is there. "House of Dark Shadows" and "Night of Dark Shadows". It's such a cool, but creepy looking house. :)

Yah too many peeps like Hillary and Co. movin inta Westchester just to show off havin a mongo size house, makin all their mongo money and havin no care for the locality around them other than more more more.

I've seen it in burb areas around 'Cuse, with more housing going all out. (wondering where are all the peeps that can afford them with all the job losses you hear about) Sad with such history to see the Sleepy Hollow area treated like that.
