Capt. Sterling
Animal good to hear! So nice to know I now have someone I can relate to.... William Brand
I love watching the numbers grow. I especially like watching the repeat numbers. I remember being bombarded with questions from people who were planning on attending in 2007. Pirates who seem hesitant before, are seldom so after they've attended. hurricane
Your children were such a delight -- I've never heard so many great train jokes... :) I enjoyed hanging with them -- if all kids could be that wonderful the world would be so much better off... We'll take care of your brood next year and not let them get into too much trouble. We'll be out at the beach and they can hang at the Catt & Fiddle. I hope they have some more jokes for me to tell around the fire. -- Hurricane -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed. Capt. Sterling
just a word of caution, these bottles can cut just as bad as the real ones, just be wise how ye use em...and I love Patrick's idea of rigging a few, so when shots are fired from the fort, some explode in the pirate camp Edited December 16, 2008 by Capt. Animal
Ask Hurricane, I take a shot to the head with a sugar bottle real well. We did a trail of the pirates for Pirates Week in Grand Cayman, BWI one year. I bought 6 bottles in Seattle and only 3 survived the trip down. One got dropped by the director of the skit and another got knocked off a table. There was only one left for the show and it was sitting on a wobbly table. I was about having kittins ,as if that broke, those fools taped together a real wine bottle as a back up. Luckily, they didn't have to use it. The bottle hit me and I hit the ground like a rock. The crowd thought I was really out (some of the cast too ) Animal Buccaneer - Services to the highest bidder!!!

Spike
Hell I'm all fer em, just saw one that didn't want to "play" nice... I figure a lil noggin protection from a head scarf might be enough protection. Problem here in Cayo Hueso is humidity. They get a bit soft when they soak up the moisture. Silkie McDonough
Another bit of cautionary advice. If the humidity is high, which it had been for 06' & 07', those sugar bottels can become very sticky. No I don't think that would stop any of us but I just wanted to mention it. Had a Stanly in "Streetcar named Desire" who had a heck of a timee putting the broken bottle down in the August heat & humidity. lol

hurricane
That's the main reason we abandoned them this year... they were getting sticky.
