Rogue Mermaid Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 I recieved Pew's book yesterday, and what a nice looking one it is!
Ransom Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 PEW's suggestion will work, if CasketChris gets a book to Mab on time. If he also wants work by Patrick, he can mail his book to him at the end of the round. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. But if you're a good navigator, a least you'll know where you were when you died.......From The Ship Killer by Justin Scott. Black Mab Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 And just to make it public (Patrick, I PMed you this already), I already sent Skull Pyrate Carter my book on the 5th so he should get it today or tomorrow. Pat, I haven't gotten your book yet but I'm watching for it. Avast, ye scurvy dog!
Skull pyrate Carter Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Sweet! hopefully it's today, I'm itching to start filling some pages. What exactly is the rule with regards to how many pages we can fill? I know with mine you can fill up quite a few for each person since it was only purchased for this purpose.
oderlesseye Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 So wots the list of players now? http://www.myspace.com/oderlesseyehttp://www.facebook....esseye?ref=nameHangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there! As he was about to face the gallows there, the pirate is said to have tossed a sheaf of papers into the crowd, taunting his audience with these final words: "My treasure to he who can understand."

I know with mine you can fill up quite a few for each person since it was only purchased for this purpose. You can do as many or as few pages as you wish, just so there are plenty of pages left for everyone still down the line. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... If he also wants work by Patrick, he can mail his book to him at the end of the round. Duh, I got that backwards. If Patrick wants work by Chris, he can send his book to him when the round is over. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... Rogue Mermaid Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Rogue Mermaid I recieved your book this morning! Very nice. My doggie spent 20 minutes sniffing the envelope...hmm Jenny has mine Patrick and I have recieved Pew's.
Black Mab Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 I just got Patrick's. It is awesome, as expected. Pat, I hate you If you send me casketchris' does that mean I have to do 2 this month? That's fine, I just want to know how to manage my drawing time. Avast, ye scurvy dog!
Pew Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 If you send me casketchris' does that mean I have to do 2 this month? No. Casketchris should be joining the rotation at the end of November. No one should have to "double up" on a fun artwork project. , Skull and Quill Society , The Watch Dog "We are 21st Century people who play a game of dress-up and who spend a lot of time pissing and moaning about the rules of the game and whether other people are playing fair."
Black Mab Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Thanks for clarifying, Pew. I wasn't that worried about it. Now I have to think of something creative and fancy to go in Pat's book. Oh horrors Avast, ye scurvy dog!
Red Cat Jenny Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 I have Rogue Mermaids as mentioned, and I had GOF's ready to go but am waiting on his address. I can't wait to see everyones work. Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Patrick Hand Posted November 9, 2007 Author Posted November 9, 2007 I think everything is sorted out now..... Wheeeeew.... I started penceling a comic for Ransom's sketchbook tonight (It's only 6 pages, so it won't take as long as PEW's.........)
Nigel Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 This sounds like fun. We did a similar thing with a bunch of artist friends. We took a sketchbook and started randomly filling in pages. The only rule was that in the end it had to be a comic book with a continuous story line. It was interesting to see how it all cmae together. At first it was doubtful it would ever work. In the end however, we had monkeys, a ninja sqirrel, Nazis, and More. It was interesting how the story line grew out of nothing and tied random elements together. It would be interesting to see what the Pyrate Sketchbooks look like in the end. Keep me in mind for Round Three. Sir Nigel - aka "Sir Freelancealot"; aka "Ace of Cads"; aka "JACKPOT!!" (cha-CHING!) "Mojitos BAD!...Lesbians with free rum GOOD!!!"
Patrick Hand Posted November 9, 2007 Author Posted November 9, 2007 Nigel, check out the two comics I did for the First round of Sketchbooks.... this one was for Silkie... https://pyracy.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11466 And this went to PEW...... https://pyracy.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11953
