  3. Formerly? It can't be true. Through the good times and bad times, we can all lean on one another when we need to. After all who's going to look after a pirate, but another pirate.
  4. Grendle, You would make a fine addition to our crew! We'll have to visit Pembroke soon, so's we can measure up our new helmsman. Welcome Aboard!
  5. Anytime Nigel! The sooner the better! It might be time to careen the Blackheart and the Phantom, and have us a party. Pyrates of the Coast style!!!!!!!!
  6. Sorry 'hic' Aminal. I found yer' hidden stash, drank it all up'hic', and I'm havin' troubles seein' straight . I'll be stealin' ye' a new bottle from the Cap'n's cabin. Now which way's did that cabin run off to?

  8. Sounds like the start of a great tale. Here's some things to keep in mind. They're on a pirate ship, so there isn't much rank. You would have the Captain, Quatermaster, Master gunner, Ship's carpenter and Ship's surgeon if you were lucky. The rest of the crew acted as a democracy and voted on different issues. The young girls will probably have to dress as boys to remain on the ships. A good job for the teens would be as "Powder Monkeys" , a term that refers to the kids that ran ammo and helped with the firing of the cannons and firarms. Hope this helps, Good luck.
  9. Thanks for the info, I'll mark it on the calendar. Are you going to try and make it? And do you know when the Harborwalk Fest is?
  10. Has anyone got news on the progress of the museum?
  11. Oops! That was me.
  12. Welcome aboard Broadside Betty and Firestorm Fergie!!!!
  13. The Bay Point Buccaneers just returned from a raid in Myrtle Beach SC this weekend. Olaf and Studley took over the Carolina Independant Auto Dealers Association annual bash at the Marriott and forced them into having fun. We stopped of in Georgetown SC and found an incredible pirate store called The Ship's Booty. They also offered boat cruises ranging from beach trips to pirate boardings. A wonderful old Carolina town!
  14. Ahoy all!! We be the Bay Point Buccaneers. Our crew of misfits is full of the meanest, nicest, ugliest, cutest pirates you'll ever find on the Seven Seas. Our homeport is in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, an area steeped in pirate legends. The crew has performed at many corporate events and social functions from Miami, FLA to Wilmington, NC. Our shows include skits, sword play, live fire, games, and occational catering( the Buccaneer Boil and Palmetto Punch has become very popular). Feel free to contact us for your next event. P.S. To all the pirate crews throughout our great country, we hope to find ourselves performing with you in the near future.
  15. Aye Captain I'd luv ta' work security at the fort for PIP, and keep them's scalaywags' paws off the goods. I'll check wit' Olaf to see if he'd be interested as well. 16. Hilton Head Island, South Carolina- halfway between Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA.
  17. Another thing Cap'n, that pesky pirate puppet has been botherin' the bloody hell out of me about joining the crew. You know the one...Roberto Kaboom- killaa' of men and luvaa' of women. We call him" Kabob" for short after the incident in that Florida pub. Please stop this endless chattering!
  18. Aye Cap'n, Studley's aboard. I'll bring her around and find us that horizon. On better thought let's find us a ship full of rum and a boat load of wenches! :)
  19. Hello again Longarm! Myself and my fellow Pyrates of the Coast bud, Olaf, will also be attending. Hope to see you there.
  20. I had the incredible fortune of growing up on the south east coast on a small island in South Carolina called St. Helena, minutes from Charleston or Savannah. Everyday during the summers, I was running along the dunes in search of treasure, or sneaking through the palms at night in hopes of finding Cap'n Kidd burying his. The first toy I built was a wooden sword, and my father built a treehouse very similiar to the Swiss Family's. My first Jolly Roger adorned it's door. When I was old enough, I got a small boat to run around the marshes with, and wouldn't you know it, the skull and crossbones on the bow. My current boat is named the " Revenge", after Stede Bonnet's ship. I've been a pirate for Halloween more times than I can count. This past year I attended both the Morehead City " Blackbeard Fest" and the " Pirates in Paradise"... pure heaven! I actually get paid to dress as a pirate and entertain people at parties up and down the east coast for a company on Hilton Head Island. As an artist/ carpenter I've painted many a pirate mural and even built a 45 foot 3D pirate ship for a stage backdrop. Currently I'm remodeling two local bars into pirate taverns and having a blast. I have had a blessed life and couldn't ask for more. :) So as all of you can see, if I wasn't a pirate than I wouldn't be!!!!!!!
  21. I hope you have a wonderful day, full of pillaging and plunder!!!
  22. Happy Birthday from a fellow Carolina Boy!
  23. Help me out mates. I'm involved with a new beach bar project on Hilton Head Island, SC. We have redesigned an older resort here into the King's Wharf and need a name for the bar. We want to go with a pirate theme, but so far we haven't found the perfect name yet. Any suggestion's?
  24. My confusion Cap'n. That one minute of sobriety, sure felt like an hour!
