I thought the show was great. Some very good laughs among the cannon firing.... I was quite surprised about the eye patch test. Pretty amazing.

Having seen the Leslie Neilson flick at the Luxor, you were wise to save your money.... I still haven't had a chance to watch the porn movie (Pirates) that I bought when I was there back in October...(screw the r rating-- I got the X one)

Funny thing, I just got done making a pair of pants to wear for events, and am making a matching bodice. But in any case here's a really old picture of me wearing pants I made (I made a bodice too so that I can wear it for Ren-faires). Btw-I've lost weight since that picture was taken. I've never heard of that brand of tea, nor have I seen it. Oh well, I'm almost over the cold now.

More times than I can count, at the Escondido faire at closing time, lots of people gather over by the ale garden (right across from where I sell) and bellydance. I've gotten pictures of noble women doing it and sent them on to St. Elizabeth's Guild so they could get a good laugh. Pirates, wizards, the Wilds, and a hole host of unusual people gather to dance, it's quite a sight.

Uh, slight problem with putting poison on one's lips to kiss another to make them do whatever....wouldn't the person who put the stuff on their lips to begin with be affected? Something is missing here.... I'd like to see more of Jack Sparrow, but without Elizabeth and Will. I think new characters would be better.

Nope you won't find it on the packaging, but Iron Bess did imply there were in fact hidden surprises (after another Pub member, I think Red Maria found one). Plus there's smart people out there who simply by clicking on certain things can find them. From what I understand, nowadays, Easter Eggs are becoming the norm on DVD's.

I know of a number of pirates who have gone there in garb. I've never been as it's just too far for me to go.
