  5. sick and tired of flying crap from some people.....
  6. I love mangoes, but I don't like papaya-for some reason it tastes kind of yucky-reminds me of some sort of industrial stuff. Mangoes should be left out to ripen, eaten when just soft enough to feel without being mushy. To cut a mango, take a knife and run it down each side of the fruit along the oblong seed in the middle. Then you can take each piece and make small cross cuts and bend it back and the fruit will give it self up to be eaten. Good ones are really juicy and I tend to eat them over the sink.
  7. That tiger is just magnificent!!!!!!
  8. Well pirate ships may not have had gals in bikinis swabbing the decks, but I thought it was amusing. As for the guy that got axed, his arrogance was his downfall. Taking compasses wasn't cool, so he got his just reward for it. Sending him adrift on a small piece of wood with a lantern was great. The guy acting as Captain: Isn't it funny when we put on our own pirate garb we fall into character? Ok, well some do, and this guy has. I am also glad the coats given to the Captain and his two head members, were not fancy dandy stuff, but more like it would have been, tattered and worn. My only real complaint is the show is slow and not very exciting. But I'll continue to watch just to see what happens and how this show plays out. That of course will determine whether or not it will return.
  9. Thank you for the report and pictures. I am amazed to see the line to get into the store was so long. Guess it's a good thing I didn't get to go, I would not have been able to stand in a line like that without my scooter.
  10. A few thoughts: When I saw all the Jack doubles the first thing that came to my mind was seeing all the Jack Sparrows at the Ojai pirate faire last year. I loved the look of surprise on Barbossa's face when he and Elizabeth are getting ready to fight on deck and all of the sudden swords come up from the floor and into their hands. Priceless! Liked when Sparrow asks daddy (Keith Richards) how's mummy, and the shrunken head is held up. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly scene when the six meet each other on the little spit of sand... Everybody in the theater mumbled the same thing when Tia/Calypso get really big and she's uttering some kind of something - everybody was going, 'what did she say?' And though it may have been nothing but sound, (Thanks Iron Bess for clearing that up), it still sounded like she indeed was saying something. Killing off Will, what a great idea and cutting out his heart -even better! Just think, it will have to be another ten years before Disney will allow him back on the lot!
  11. Honestly I wasn't sure about what to think there seemed to be such an array of opinions here, but I saw the movie today and I LOVED IT!!!! I had no trouble following the storyline at all and I thought it was GREAT!
