  1. I finally got to see the clip. Blurry yes, Jack Sparrow- yum, Barbossa-nifty, all of it- holding onto my seat until next summer!
  2. MY SHOPPING IS ALL DONE! Na-na-na-na!
  3. I'm working on getting hold of a time-share in Mesa to use for the 4 and 5th.
  4. I can also bring some chips and onion dip or I can whip up some really good chopped liver to put on crackers.
  5. A friend of mine had made a holder for a sword, but as it turned out, my pistol fits quite well into it. Let me get some quick pictures so you can see. The leather ties are to piece tie it in. Pistol and scabbard #1 Pistol and scabbard #2
  6. I have used tea bags and coffee grounds, even rubbed dirt and soot onto paper to make it look old. Have even burned the edges of paper. Never had a problem. I hope the stain won't eat away at the paper after time. Good luck.
  7. MY companion bought a kit from Dixie Gun Works and put it together himself, stained it, etc. and he's very pleased with it. Even happier it actually works!
  8. Rainbow Connection (Kermit the frog sings it)
  9. (I pull the wingzies off faireys-those pesky little buggers) Rainbow banners
  10. Well for someone who changed his name from Mission to Caraccioli - which by the way sounds like some kind of stuffed pasta- ( ), me thinks you be thinking too much. I AM NOT A STAR WARS GEEK! Just because I have the license plate that says StarWrs, doesn't mean I'm wierder that swiss cheese! I'm not a sci-fi book reader, I don't have every friggin' toy associated with the movie, I don't even have a costume (though I'm sure Capt. Grey would like to remedy that situation for me) or lightsabre stuff. I am not technically smart either, but I do like the technical camera things that have evolved from the original movie to what we have now, that's why I have the plate! I appreciate how far we have come and how far we have yet to go! To infinity and beyond!
  11. Well I t'was readin' the darn instructions in the camera manual. They aren't exactly clear with their little pictures of whatever I'm suppose to use. Plus it stated using a tripod would be best. Well, I didn't feel like setting up my tripod for that. So because of the time needed to make the exposure, it's a bit wierd. But hey it's all in the learning.
  12. Hmmm, I use to go to IWon all the time, then got bored and left. Gee, perhaps I should go back.....
  13. Dying from lack of sleep. My companion was doing the 'Snore Fest' last night. Arrrggghhhh.....
  14. Been thinking of decent names for the group, so here's my short list. The Old Way Inn The Pyrate's Hand or simply, The Pirate's Pub (which I actually have a sign for) I also think it would be nifty to read stories (at certian posted times) to children, perhaps teach kids how to be a pirate (or whatever character they want), maybe have a crafts area where kids could make something (don't know what yet). Or a small gaming area where kids could play chess (this is Boat's strong point) or other games. Or perhaps even incorporate a stage where other groups could preform their singing or regular shows. Just off the top of my thoughts.
  15. Say wha? Never had the stuff, but hey I'm game. Not sure what the heck I'm looking for in the cam shots. A duckbill platapoose?
  16. When my companion comes home from work and comes in the door he says, "Lucy, I'm home."
  17. BAWAHAAAAAAA! Two very good ones Sam!
  18. Well I don't have a lot of area for display, but I actually managed to take a picture last night of what I have on my balcony. Gawd I love my digital camera! Sorry it's not so clear, but you get the idea. Christmas Lights Those two things in the bedroom window, one is a shooting star, the other is a Christmas tree. The thing hanging in front of the balcony is a nifty snowflake that twinkles. The star above is hung with fishing line (not just by the light cord) so that it looks like it's floating.
