I tried to put a small bodice dagger in my front, but it left a nasty rash against my skin, so I don't do that anymore.

I would think a small knife like an eating knife (which I always have on my belt)or similar would be able to be hidden into a pocket or in the folds of a sash.

I too, seem to recall that people often did not fully undress while engaged in sex. I can site an example in fiction of the Three Musketeers where Athos does not seem to notice that his lady wife has been branded a whore, yet he has made love to her many times. I also recall a Victorian tale mentioning a whore who charged more money for "stark" naked intercourse.

Can anyone confrim this?

I came across a site that had tie on bustle skirts out of taffeta that were pin-tucked in the back and I forgot to bookmark the site.

If anyone can find this for me I'd appreciate it.
