End of the world? What are we all gonna do without the Pub?

Well I had this really bad picture of Oderlesseye sitting at a pretty table trying to drink tea with his pinky finger sticking out and around the table Capt. Syn with Blackthorne are also trying to do it. Yup, that's a pretty laughable picture....

Ah that's it, really mugs of beer!

I take it that you are doing these things at the studio?

Honestly, if the stays were my size I would have bought that corset in an instant.

Yes it's that time of year when we get all funny and creepy and travel through Mission's haunted house of chills and thrills.

It's that time again, this year the faire opens on Halloween, Oct.31, and trick-or-treat bags will be given to all the kids and they can get goodies from the vendors and guilds at the event.

All guests are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy the atmosphere that is totally incredible at this site.

I will be selling my wares - be sure and get your copy of "Raising the Black Flags, Poetry for and by Pirates," from me with no shipping charges! I can be found right across from the ale garden with my friend Dawn (who sells jewelry)along the sidewalk, so be sure and look for me!

Truly having a miracle happen!

On Oct. 16th our former roommate's cat got out and ran away. We thought for sure the cat was coyote food, as the coyotes were out and very close by.

Then on Saturday (Oct.24th) around 5:30 in the morning I got up to do my business, then took a cruise around the house and just happened to look out the sun room window and I saw a cat that looked just like Joy, and I said in surprise, "Joy?" Then the cat ran away, and I thought I must have been hallucinating as I am on stronger drugs these days.

So I told Boats about it and I swear on a stack of Bibles I saw that cat....

Well on Sunday night Boats just happen to look out the dining room window and said, "There's a white cat by the bird bath."

I said that had to be Joy, so he went out the back door and I went out the front and we looked for the cat and met at the door to the sun room, no cat.

So I got all the other cats out of the sun room, left the door open and sat in the dark for a long time hoping the cat would come in, he didn't.

So last night (Oct.26) I put out a dish with just a tiny amount of dry food on the porch area, then left the door open a bit and put a dish of wet food inside where he'd have to come in to eat it.

After a while I heard one of our cats make a noise at the sun room sliding door to the rest of the house and I asked Boats who was at the computer to check out of the corner of his eye and see if the cat was in the sun room, he was!

So I quickly got up, went out the kitchen door, around the back of the house and just as I started up the stairs to the sun room, the cat poked his head out and saw me. Now he could have easily run past me, but instead, he turned and ran further into the room. I rushed in and closed the door...we now have the missing cat back, a little skinny and dirty, but thankfully not hurt. I am so grateful that the Goddess answered my prayers!

What a great find!

Curious if anyone has ordered anything from them, would like to check them out to see if there's any complaints before one should plop money down on them. Better safe than sorry.

Yup, it's that time again.

Things to remember:

1. There is no price limit

2. Be sure and get your gift to your person in a timely manner Every year we have 1 or 2 people who slack off and don't get their gifts in the mail until after Christmas and some have never received anything. This really isn't a good way to be a good pirate, so if you're in money straights, please don't sign up for this.

3. Names will be drawn randomly, if you have participated in the past, I may still have your address, if you have moved, give me your new one - PM me for that.

4. The cut off date for participating is November 25 (the day before Thanksgiving) in order for all who wish to participate to have time to get gifts and sent to the snail mail. I will PM you as to who you will be a Secret Santa for on the 28th of Nov.

It saddens my heart to hear a child with something that only the 'higher powers' can do anything about.

I honestly don't know what else to say at this time, other than please keep your heart strong for him and I will do the same.

I'm for Tim Curry.

I talked to Mitch about changing the month and I think (don't hold me to this) that he's thinking of August after Comic Con.

Though I did suggest the end of June before it gets too hot.

He does say he will do it again as the response was great, but the month is up in the air. I do know he won't do it again in Sept. when it's up against other activities.
