:) thanks fellas! We are gearing up for some serious pattern welded customs this year. The last few years we were kicking out some entry level pattern welded pieces but this year we will be stepping it up a bit more. More detail in every way. Should be fun.

Ah come on. POTC movies to some of us might seem to be getting old but the general public loves them still and they are still making huge money. Nothing running dry anytime soon. Lets be honest, in some ways pirates with the general public hasnt even peaked yet. There is only one popular pirate themed set of movies, failed reality show and not much more. I think we will see a lot more from Pirates in the film and entertainment relm before it drys up. I think we would all like to see some other movies or perhaps a decent TV show or mini series. I heard that the later movies, and yes there will most likely be more then just 5, that Sparrow might not be the main character but more of a roll player. Honestly we will just have to wait and see how #4 is first.

Id say my millenium falcon and my armor that my brother made for me that I just made plans to re aquire after my nephew had them past down to him and he outgrew them. Cant wait to have them back.

This is the latest pattern welded piece from BKS. This is another entry level pwelded sword. It is 87 layers and features a hand ground fuller. The hilt is our Bootstrap with a high polish. The fluted handle is hickory. The pommel is a spiral faceted fat boy. This is the cutlass that I had on me at PIP. Me too. I love it. Most of his work looks much much better then most production pieces I have seen out there. I know that when I was a kid alot of nice weaponry was coming out of Agentina.

I have been approached to sell these fire arms by the manufacturer and I know nothing about them. They seem to be a bit nicer then was is common for sale most places. Good to know...very good to know. Id like to do any things with this event. One of the main things would be to help promote each members buisness or crew or subject of their choosing. I know we have several sword/knife makers in the order or envolved. We have a great hat maker, a talented potter and a wealth of knowledge. I would like to put together something that helped everyone out would like ti participate.

We got a call from the Admiral Fells Hotel and it seems they are just about sold out for Fells Point this year. A good sign and it lit a spark up under my seat to get something planned. There may not be new inductees or there may be one or two. No voting this time though. If there is to be another member it will be decided by the current members. We have a few locations in mind for the next meeting. Nothing solid as of yet. I seem to be at the helm for getting something planned and organized. I am taking suggestions for the event. There will certainly be some weaponry up for grabs again. Though you may have to earn it with more then a roll of the dice this time :) I would like to get something solidified enough to print a blurb about it in the next issue of the magazine so we dont have too much time to decide. So what say ye? Are there at least some of you that would be into attending a Leviathon meeting/party in Baltimore this year? I know there have been several Order of Leviathon events hosted by the members of the Order and we always had hoped for that. This would be an official meeting hosted by the magazine and the order to better the community and have a great time. We would also be doing our annual Pirates Magazine "pirate of the year" award. The award would be passed down from lst years winner Tony Swatton to the next winner. Other awards will be handed out aswell. If any buisness owners or craftsmen in the order would like to donate something towards the event then speak up. Or if you have any ideas please speak up.
