I was at Epcot last weekend with my family for the international wine and food expo and I tried a Radler at the German village. The Radler (Cyclist) is a drink consisting of about 60%/40% mixture of lager beer and German-style lemonade. My brother and I each had several liters of it with lunch. It was thirst quenching and quite tastey !

This will be my first PIP and I hope to get in on as many activities as possible but don't want to bore my girlfriend and make this my last event with her. She is going along with me even though she really isn't that interested in the "pirate thing". I know she would rather spend her time at the beach or walking/shopping Duval Street. We spent over a month in Key West during Aug & Sept and we shopped almost every day. (Well, she went to shop and I went to the bars!) She has gotten into the clothing part of it though. She has made several dresses for herself to use at PIP and made a bunch of clothes for me too. She even agreed to the primitive camping part so I was able to cancel my hotel reservations. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it works out ...

I've only been around for about two months so far but I'd still like to join in on this if I can. I haven't posted a whole lot here on the Pub but I do jump in on a topic when the mood strikes. Also, I don't really know anybody but that should change once I meet a whole bunch of you at PIP.

Lady B I think your dagger that says "De estos chiles pocos da la mata" is probably Spanish. I would translate "La mata da pocos de estos chiles" as meaning"The bush gives few of these chili peppers". I'm still not sure what, if anything, it's supposed to mean. I once had a Mexican machete inscribed with something like "Carne bueno y barato solo es por el gato". That roughly translated to "Good and cheap meat only is for the cat". I think some guy in Mexico who inscribes these things just makes stuff up to mess with the tourists...
