  1. SHIVER ME TIMBERS! This har show has been cancelled! Har be the low down from Jamaica Rose: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX NQG - PIRATE MASTER IS CANCELLED PIRATE UPDATE ************************************************** Avast ye, lads and lasses, We have sad news to announce that CBS has marooned "Pirate Master". CBS has cancelled the show. Kendra Guffey (Pirate Master participant) tells us: "CBS Will be showing the final 5 episodes online. It is still airing in 11 countries!" Episode 9 is already online at www.cbs.com. Just go to "Full Episodes" and click on "Pirate Master". Kendra reported, "Ep 9 is online as I type. They will put up a new episode every Tuesday. Yeah!" As for writing to CBS to protest, we don't have any specific address yet. Kendra suggested, "Just write to CBS- they are the ones who pulled it. I'd say write to whomever is in charge." She also told us: "No one can take away the awesome 6 week time I had and the friends I made and all the fun we've had watching it! ... And I've met a ton of new pirates because of it! Its all good!" --Jamaica Rose (Christine Lampe, editor of No Quarter Given) http://www.noquartergiven.net XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX It be them pirates at CBS be our undoin! -Greydog
  2. From a TV show stand point, I think thar be a problem. Based on how the game be played, the gang of three has such a lock in it t'would be foolish for the officers to agree to mutiny against the Cap'n and will wait til its just the three officers before they go against each other. That thar game situation makes for boring TV. So, the producers need to be playin up the mutiny aspect on the show and may haps other things to add spice to the viewin. I am suspectin that the Ghost Crew had not been originally planned, but was introduced as an option after the gang of three had run away with the game. If that be true, thar could be more surprizes in the works. But that thar blasted fellar needs to be a walkin the plank fer dropping that key, fer sure, fer sure! -Greydog
  3. I bought two of these CD's last week and already have gotten them in the mail! A first rate job and they be a joy to listen to. I be buyin two, because we will be awardin one as one of the prizes at the Pirate Raid/party event (vic Temecula, CA) on Oct 6, 2007. -Greydog
  4. I got one of them thar pouches, this har last weekend. It be simply first rate! If ye be looking for a pouch fer yer valuables this har be a great way to go. It be exactly as described and be havin a great quality to it that ye need to hold in yer hand to appreciate. I be gettin one of them thar trays as well, it too were nice. -Greydog
  5. Shoot first and stab latter. Now if in me enemies would just cooperate - line up single file, give me 20 seconds between shots, and bring a knife to the gun fight, I'd be very happy! But, noooo, they won't cooperate and I be needin me sword as well.
  6. Mine came from a genuine photograph of the roughest, toughest, meanest pyrate thar be in the 1700's. Then I be embarassed to find out that thar were no photographs in the 1700's. So I just used this har one instead.
  7. Aye, that thar be a right fine book it be. Of course ye wonders if thar be a blasted secret in that thar book, with it bein written by a "former" FBI agent, it be! Could be he is just tryin to smoke us out and then nab us, based on no more than simply the way we be a speakin, that's fer sure. Talk about yer profilin, arrrrr. -Greydog
  8. This be in a new time slot startin this har week. Tuesdays at 10 pm fer me. Be checkin yer local listin's. -Greydog
  9. Cap'n Sage: Now them are some right fine lookin pouches they be. In fact so right fine, I be send ye a note via other signals about gettin one for Cantakerous Jan, that I be a doin. May yer ship not run aground on a dry lake. -Greydog
  10. I be likin that thar new website. It be havin plenty of information on it, it be. Its great to be a seein a site finally up! -Greydog
  11. Of course t'would be Harrison Ford, but since he looks nuthin like me the only real choice is: Cameron Diaz Well, sure she is nuthin like me at all; which is why I will need hours and hours with her to teach her how to handle me part! -Greydog
  12. Aye, welcome ye. Tis wonderful to be havin ye to this har fine establishment. It seems the quality of the premises is bein improved. Ye be a decore we can truly appreciate. Please, sit ye down and relax. Oh...If that purse of yer's be a might heavy, I'll offer to hold it fer ya while ye be har. Oh, no, tis no bother, merely a gentleman's service I provide to a grand lady like yer self. I do this fer free from the bottom of me heart as it were. Welcome. -Greydog
  13. Tiny Bubbles by Don Ho be island music
  14. I agree with ye about mutiny. The crew of ladies not be realizin that they be hangin seperate because they not be hangin together. Plus, that thar Cap'n done changed the split he did, he did. Many a crew be gettin rid of thar Cap'n simply fer be a doin what he did, that they would. -Greydog
  15. I be speakin to Tigerlee this last weekend and he be tellin me that thar are still tickets available for this right fine and fun event. -Greydog
  16. This har show makes me laugh, it does, it does. Fer more detailed information about that thar show try this link: Pirate Master Thar be a question about them thar coins, well har be the link to the company that makes them: Coins -Greydog
  17. Aye this is the first time ever for this event. Depending on this year's event, we are hoping to do next year on a far larger and grander scale. Looking down further in this area (Raids) of the pub, you will see that it is listed. Thank ye kindly fer lookin in on us. -Greydog
  18. 1. I be wishin for a tankard that would never run out of rum. 2. I be wishin I was never hung over. 3. I be wishin for a second tankard just like the first for days that I am really thirsty. -Greydog (I also be wishin ye not know that I pirated this joke from else whar)
  19. I and several of me lads were thar as well. It t'were a fun event and we look forward to it fer next year. We even captured a couple of Royal Navy Lieutenants who's inspection tour were cut a might short! Arrr. They were fine lads though, they signed the articles and be workin for us now! -Greydog
  20. Buying a round tis the least I could do to be with such a fine group of lads and lasses, consider it done! -Greydog
  21. Maybe yer compass be pointin to what ye most want instead of North? If that be the case, from the looks of the dad blamed thing, I don't think ye know what ya want? -Greydog
  22. A right fine day to ye all. I am right fine pleased to be har and meet ye all. I have only recently gone on account, but had a right fine record of historical activities (some might call that re-enacting) fer over 30 years prior to that unfortunate circumstance that started me down this profitable path of endeavors. May ye have slipped yer anchor a full hour before they know yer gone. -Greydog
  23. It be " Pyrat XO Rum" it be and a godsend it be at that! And that thar bottle be a a fun item too! Gold, talk of gold? Arrr, talk of gold. I always have thoughts and opinions when it be about gold, it be. Ya see, gold and ports go hand in hand they do. Fer without a port to go to gold just be ballast. And goin to port without gold be a waste of time it be. If ye have one then ye need the other. If yer without one then the other doesn't do ye much good. Then thar always be an option of using a port as a gold mine. Just be a waitin outside of port...that way ye can be findin gold that a passer by might accidnetly be losin. Tis nothin more than retrivin that what would otherwise be lost is what I am sayin. It's more like ye be perfomin a service to ensure valuables don't wind up in Davey Jone's Locker. Now, I know this har one port that if ye.....I think I might be better off talkin less about it. Arrr, aye Pyrate XO is the rum fer me, but it has a habit of loosin tongues and now might be the right time to put that thar bottle down!
