The Pub... my guidebook in a hobby that made me a better person, start to finish. My heart aches this year...

You are not the only one, Patrick. Same has happened to me - scareware called Antivirus Soft. So, no computer until I get it fixed - the iPhone will have to get me thru til then (limited, but better than nothing).

Gah... Wish I had the channel~

Yep, spill planes have fascinated me since I saw the one on my Lee Valley catalog. Just try to find a plane dating back to the 1700s, though ~ I have contacted antique dealers, living history folks ~ nothing concrete as of yet, but I will continue. I was hoping to incorporate it into my camp kit as a practical item ~ I don't usually need a whole fire, but usually need to light my lanterns ~ this is something I can easily chat with the smaller impressionable folk about, and even share spills with the audience.

Nice fabric, Mr. Cross ~ JoAnn's? I think we may have the same ~ found yards of it in clearance late 2008 ~ you would think I would have done something with it by now. Very nice job on the buttons!

and I for Lady Cassandra Seahawke ~ I do hope you like the rum cake cookbook. Hatchet Meg (the author) is a member of Blackbeard's Crewe, Hampton, VA. I had the pleasure of trying 2 of her cakes (from the cookbook) at Hampton Blackbeard's 2009, and they were exceptional.
