Ohboy. Long list. As with others, no particular order, just as they come to mind... Most Alfred Hitchcock-Because I spent an entire semester studying the guy... The Lord of the Rings Movies- Obvious I'm sure Most of the Highlander movies- Though some days I believe in the phrase "There Should Have Been Only One..." POTC- Oh come on, this had to be obvious The Blair Witch Project- Sucky visuals, but once I started using my own imagnation...yike. Of course, BW was not really made with the intent of being cinematically pretty. Secret if NIMH: I need to get this on DVD..one of the childhood faves..an OLD childhood fave even. Nightmare on Elm Street: Because it was the first scary movie that I had to actually STOP watching the first time, and it took me several years to watch it end to end. That's just the tip of the iceberg, I think. I could spend a LOT of time listing movies that I like for one reason or another. Don't get me started again!

Leave it to a pirate to think o' new uses for al-kee-hol.....

Oh if only we COULD have raided that lady.. Coulda drained the pool and filled it with grog. Or...not drained the pool and filled it with pirates holding grog. Hmm....

My personal piece of amusement for th' weekend: ...when we were anchored out on Friday night, while the sun was goin' down, hearin' the sound of wee ones "Yo Ho Ho"-ing at us from the shore Not that comin' t' challenge against the America's Cup was not fun either...which I 'ave some pictures from, by the by... Claire did a bang-up job sailin' us through that! It was a wonderful time...to say the least! *mutter* now I wanna go to Ojai....

See, this is why I am going to be spending my time making my clothes instead. It's not easy, and gods know that I'm none too perfect in me work, but I 'ave a good start to m'stuff already.. In fact, me pirate coat got a right whuppin' over the weekend..should look a tad more like what it should now...

If I don' sleep m'self through it, I might be there. Just got home. Oy..lovely weekend, but I be a tired pirate...

The current avatar is a picture of me about...hmm..just before I started the board really. It's from a pirate party that I attended with some friends...more or less a gang of about thirty to forty people hitting Vallejo by ferry and pub-hopping in piraticals. I'm deliberating changing it though...I get tired of seeing the same thing quickly...

...because it's Friday, yer a pirate, an' ye got Pirate Talk t' be speakin'! Or something... So what're ye all doin', if anythin'? It's a pirate holiday, ye gotta 'ave somethin' on yer agenda. So far, not too much for me t'day. Just work 'til about quarter t' five or so..then I'm off to th' water where th' REAL fun begins!!!

WOOHOOO!!!!!!! Lucky's here in 'er office, wearin' her "Kiss me I'm a Pirate" shirt, her beat-up ol' pirate jacket hangin' off to the side... It's a bit warm at the moment for me t' wear it, it is...

One o' the new Survivor lads, apparently. I only discovered that because Scupper mentioned it.....I'm enjoyin' the TV bein' off t'night..normally the Boy is watchin' far too much o' the bloody news for my likin'. I'm enjoyin' th' peace an' quiet o' no idiot box...well, none but the trusty fingertyper 'ere...

Scupper, luv, I be confused a bit..what's he gonna be a member of? Don' mind me. Slow on th' uptake, I am..on some things at least. EDIT: Ne'er mind. Figured it out, I did. This is what happens when Lucky doesn't watch th' idiot box...and is instead wrapped up on th' fingertyper...also known as Idiot Box #2.

I must say, a wee lady carryin' a BIG 'lock could be quite impressive to th' menfolk! What I might do is to get the Ferry first, then the QA, so I can have whatever I want depending on how I feel. Matter of fact, I saw a picture online of a painting (bloody gotta find it again, because I want it!) done with Anne Bonney, Mary Reade and Calico Jack Rackam all together. Now I don't know which of the lasses was which, but the one in the middle had one gun in her belt, and another in her hand.

Ohyes. That gun commands some respect when it goes off. No kidding. I'm still trying to figure out why I didn't feel like it was going to knock me over when it went off. Most of the work was done for me though, and while I tried to pay as best of attention as possible, I know I'm going to need do it a lot more before I feel like I know what I am doing. Oh but when I do....Lara Croft, move yerself over, wench!

Whenever I get mine ye KNOW that is what I'll be doin'...and I'll get stared at like I'm a nutter. Fine by me, it is. By the time I get one I'll hopefully be able t' figure out what t'do with it!!

Yer quite welcome! *elaborate bow, all while not spillin' her rum or droppin' her sewin' wares!* When yer not pillagin' an' plunderin', I'm sure ye'll be sharin' a bit Aye, they say "take what ye can an' give nothin' back.." but if we lived by that entirely no one would learn anything! As for songs luv, m'afraid I hate m'own singin' voice so bloody much that I don' sing if I can 'elp it. Which of course, makes rememberin' lyrics t' songs more or less useless. However, we 'ave the Sea Shanties section, an' ye might find some tune t' hum as yer swabbin' the deck in there.
