i agree, there is a huge gray space i just use the term "hollywood pirate" alot and i wanted to add my two cents on what it ment to me thats all

to clear things up on MY part when i use the term "hollywood pirate" i am not just refering to potc there are many other movies out there who have really bad costumes (i mean spures aside from a sea horse why do ya need them ) and yes many of the movies have great costumes the problem is most of them are not main figures in the movies... but i agree with patrick i thought this was for all pirate garb no matter what style

ugh... i started a new work schedule 10 days on and 4 off those 4 are nice but man that first of the 10 sucks all i can think of is 9 more 8 more etc. the thing that really sucks is i spend all my days off going damn i have onlt 3 days 2 days etc untill i have to work 10 its a lose lose situation

lady b thanks for the comment i feel as long as you dont look at most of the main characters in potc they have a cool wardrobe

you finaly cleaned it, it looks like a cool pirate room now and not a prop room

we need to dull those bad boys down

ya th ehollywood thing is fun because anybody can look at you and say your a pirate but historical well i dont know yet, they are not similar by no means

ok so i think im doing damn good, tried my hardest to get what i understood to be an authentic pirate. ok so we have four pics my first "pirate" garb, then my "hollywood" and the end result of 3 years of pirating my "authentic"garb the last pic is my take on the project done by Zephaniah W Nash. i would like to thank all of you who helped me along the way and a special thanks to Patrick Hand for showing me in ojai how cool a "real" pirate could be...
