  1. Jack,

    the post mortum beaten equine aside..... it is a lovely bit of handiwork. and if it is that cold in Fl to need said muff, try up here in PA a lovely 10 degrees and dropping.

    but it is lovely, thanks for posting the pictures.

  2. tis been awhile since book shave been discoursed.

    here are two ideas up for your consideration: Patroit pirates, and the sea rovers guide. the fisrt deals with the role of pirateing to win the revolution and how much looking the other way our noble goverment officials looked the ohter way. the latter seems a general purpose reading.

    ye ships potter,

  3. Aye,

    the wee ones would have indeed been dreassed the same for the fisrt 5 ish years in simple shifts and caps. The the top of the boys shift would be made to look like a waistcoat, and yes the wee lasses would have been started on stays. To the tune of they have done internal comparisons of women then and today to illistrate the differnce in body outline, and the displacment of internal organs. I will try to dig up some photos if anyone wants to discuss this particular aspect.

    sorry jack, didnt mean tot threadjack.

    just too damn cute :unsure::D:D

  7. ah yes,

    that fatal blow disguised as passion....i will have to ask the gunner to post a photo when he can of his lady's favoured weapon. a lovely damaascus blade in the folds of petticoat or cloak. may have to look into getting a hat pin as well at some point. Other then that a cast skillet or a knitting needle works as well

    given no other option, anything that comes to hand can be used. and ships hae alot of rope, garroting is effective

    as any blade or gun and much more for the stealth.

  8. for me bonnet i just use the ribbon so attached, no pin

    now to ask the devils advocate, what about clothes, such as the head scarves many o the lads wear????? tropical climes being what they are. any documantations of lasses wearing such?
