    Rum

'S very tasty -- specially with lots of those tiny key limes, a bit of Coke, tons of ice in a very tall glass, and one of those umbrella straws. Yup!
  6. Pleasantly drunk, but it's starting to wear off. Bugger!
  7. I went for my walk today, despite the fact that it was raining. Not sure it will make up for the rum & "reduced fat" potato chips this evening, though.

^ The red-headed guy at the ESL school who use to teach his students "pick-up lines" in his conversation class. < Considering another rum, but thinking the calories might not be a good idea if I want my Regency ball gown to fit comfortably in early May. V D'ya ever visit here when you're a bit drunk?

  10. Drinking rum and watching the commentary track on Stargate: Atlantis. The angelic Mr. H. is working late tonight, so I need some virtual company. Normally, I'm not a fan of commentary tracks.

^Clowns aren't as scary as ventriloquist dummies. ^^Majolica serving bowl for baked potatoes -- shaped to look like a baked potato (or a giant turd, if no-one explained to you what it was supposed to be). And no, I did not regift it, I just junked it. However, its memory has given me years of amusement -- so, in that sense, I guess it was actually a really terrific gift. < Bit giddy. Might be the drugs. V Ever wake up laughing?

  19. That's hilarious, William. It took me halfway through the commercial to realize he was singing a Duran Duran cover!

^ Ask Pirate Seika -- she must know: http://pyracy.com/forums/index.php?showuser=4817 < I like the grilled tomatoes and mushrooms in the English breakfast. The cold toast is a bit mystifying, though. (I know of one Canadian family in which a silver-plated toast rack given as a wedding present by a British relative became a running-joke "regift" that got presented to each newlywed couple in turn, never once leaving its shrink-wrapped box in over 20 years.) V Strangest present you've ever received? Did you "regift" it?
