  1. It's that time of year again! Welcome to Military History Fest! We are an indoor convention for Military History buffs, Reenactors, collectors and Cultural Historians from all time periods, from the Roman Empire through the modern day. The excitement and camaraderie that happens at this show is electric, and I can't wait to get everybody together again! This family friendly 3 day celebration features hundreds of quality vendor tables, LIVE demonstrations of historical military & cultural activities every day, musical performances, interesting seminars and lectures on a myriad of topics, a Reenactor's Ball, and there is ALWAYS a party going on after the sun goes down!

    Military History Fest XIII starts Feb. 3-5, 2012 at the Pheasant Run Resort and Convention Center.

    Friday 2pm - 6pm

    Saturday 9 am - 6pm

    Sunday 9 am - 2pm

    That's right, this year we are in a new place...because we out grew the old ones! With the new location, we are offering more vendors, more displays, including full indoor encampments, military vehicles and heavy weapons! Plus, on Friday Veterans are FREE as a thank you for their serv

  2. Just wanted to let everyone know that this past weekend's event at the 2011 Pike River Rendezvous went splendidly! For all our crewe that came out and had fun...thank you again for making this a great event. And to all the new and old faces that we had the chance to meet up with this past weekend....from the Great Lake River Pirates battle to the lovely music and conversation after hours with so many....looking forward to next year with much anticipation.

  3. Oh...I love these Maddogge. I am waiting to hear back from Eric Larson (Steampunk creator Midwest Teslacon II). Applications are now being looked over for our "Captain Nemo"...now we wait and see.

  4. I'll try and post a AAR later (like in the next few days)... but a HUGE congrats to Cheeky Actress for being this years contest winner for the trip to the Caymans!

    That makes the re-enactors two for two on winning! I couldn't be more proud of how well the varied re-enactors who have cone together over the last two years have done!

    Thank you Mickey! Now All I hav to do is explain to my hubby why I need to take M.A.Dogge with me?! My hubby still cannot believe I won...even when I show him the letter. And I sware he did say this...."Did you steal this?" I just smiled. What a fantastic event! It was so great to see all of you again!....I cannot wait to share in your company once more!

  5. TESLACON - We're Looking for Capt. Nemo!

    Become Captain Nemo- on FILM! We are looking for someone to star in our "meet" the passenger video we will be showing at registration. The person we pick must be comfortable in front of a camera and also love playing the character of Nemo.

    If you are interested please contact us at: bobbins@teslacon.org ...We ask you send a picture, but also a brief description why you would want to portray this famous character. Hope to hear from many of you!

  6. Oh yes! And with this year's Underwater them...it will be a great time. And just to let you know, I was told by Lord Bobbins himself, that I am to spread the word and invite as many piratical friends as possible! So, with that being said. Madame Lilith Desdemona Killingsworth extends an invite to her friends.

  8. Ive been BANNED from the contest...so it seems...to allow others to be the PRETTY ONE this year....but be forwarned....I'd be let back into the fray 2012....MUhahahahah

    Really M.A.d'Dogge?! I should say that with the twenty something pirates invading their port...we should have more than our share of 'pretty pirates'...especially with the women folk who will be there this year.

    Just a quick note: are the dates confirmed now? I need to start looking at this event with some planning. I hope to have 'people' in tow for this event...to help with travel/cost. Please let me know. Thank you.

  10. Come be part of the Premiere Showing of 'The Pirates of the Caribbean-4!

    On this Thursday at 10:00pm - May 20 at 1:00am at North Shore Cinema -- Mequon located at 11700 N Port Washington Road Mequon, WI

    Join in by dressing in your pirate best and meet up with us at Zaffiro's Pizza Bar at the Marcus Theatres in Mequon. There will be Games and door prizes. Drink specials. Anyone dressed as a Pirate gets 10% off food. 10pm to midnight.

    Then watch the movie in 3D on the Ultrascreen!.

  11. It's time ....Port Washington Pirate Fest

    The first full weekend in June (June 3,4, & 5, 2011), the scenic harbor of downtown historic Port Washington, Wisconsin, provides the perfect, <BR soft>picturesque setting for all the mayhem & merriment of the Pirate Festival.

    It has become the "must attend" event for boaters, bikers, re-enactors & families alike from all over the Midwest & beyond.

    The event includes: Invasions, a Thieves Marketplace, a Gruel Galley, a Buccaneer Bash, fireworks, children's activities, demonstrations, educational exhibits, musicians, comedians, a parade, a pirate ship & much more. Walk the Plank!
