Bloody Hell, Striker! Lilly says looking shocked. It's polite to ask!
-
I'll make sure that we stop and say 'hello' to my 'sisters' at the Bristol town hall building. They are quite the pair...are they not?
-
Lilly shoot Cap'n Pete a look. "Sir, I have many talents!" She gives him a wicked smile. As for you Rateye. I have a wooden tankard too...if Cap'n Pete cannot find a spare. You are welcome to barrow that as well.
-
Good point, Captain. Well done!

Charles Dickens' book (about the travelling Lady of the Evening) suddenly comes to mind... "The Sale of Two Titties." Lilly looks over at her two court jesters. "Great! I will be roasted this weekend, won't I?" As for Terrance and Sabastain, Cap'n Pete....well, my boyz follow me where ever I go!
-
"Yes," She says in a teasing manner. "From cover to cover, I hope!"
-
My word Cap'n Pete. Blessings upon you! Okay...do you plan to share your wealth? (Seductive smile, wink, bending over to show cleavage)!
-
Lilly can only give the Captain a very wicked smile. "What every you fancy, Dear One."
-
Lilly pulls from her lover's side and looks at him after he's made such a comment. "What do you mean, you haven't been able to get out of bed?" She looks him straight in the face. "You never had that problem with me, sweet."
-
Lilly can only give the Captain a sorrowful look. "What a life you must have had as a child." She takes his hand and nuzzles next to him with hug. "I can only hope that our son never feels such pain." With that she holds him tighter.

The hours began to fade into twilight. The little room’s light started to fade into the corners. Shadows now crept their way into her chamber. With a disgusted look, Lilly pushed away the tray and paused for a moment. The image of her beloved Captain was still fresh in his mind. “What will become of me if he is dead?” Symms, now half asleep, tottered on the edge of the only surviving chair in the room. “You must not think of such things.” Lilly rubbed her eyes. “I know my fate and I now must accept it. God has not shown me any grace and I am to become the thing I hate the most.” Symms was about to reply when there was a heavy knocking upon the door. Lilly flopped back into her bed. “Send them away, Symms. I do not wish to see anyone…not like this!” Symms ignored her request and opened the door slow. There, once again, was the small boy that had requested the Captain’s audience earlier that morning. “YOU!” Hissed the old man. “What do you wish of my Captain now?” The boy entered the room and looked about, only to see Symms and Mistress Lilly. “I’ve been instructed by my Mistress to inform you that the Captain is alive and safe.” Lilly quickly sat up in her bed and looked almost shocked. “He is held up at the Devereaux household and will remain until Dr. Rieley see him fit.” “I must go to him!” She said grabbing her shoes from under the bed. “You cannot go anywhere!” Yell Symms. “Not with Killingsworth still out there scheming on how he can get his hands upon you!” “Beg your pardon, sir.” The small boy interjected. “Word be that Killingsworth was brought down. Injury or even dead they say.” Lilly again gave expression of disbelief. “Then I am free of this place and no longer have to fear Killingsworth!”

Mistress Lilly McKinney looks over at the Captain. "GOOD GOD!" She says throwing her hand up in the air. "What else have you not told me?!"
-
Lilly looking surprised and some what frightened. If 'Reggie' shows at Bristol. Who's gonna kill him for me?! Then she quickly hides behind Captain Sterling.
-
Lilly narrows her eyes at Lady St. Claire for just a moment. Then turns and whispers to Captain Sterling. "I think I've just been insulted." Then turns back to the Lady and smiles. "I see that you know our good Captain, Lady. Pray, do you also know of his father, Lord Sterling?"

Lilly laid destressed upon her bed weeping an endless stream of tears. She expected the worst. She feared that her sweet captain now was dead and that she would never be able to truly confess her tale of woe to him. She curled herself into a ball, as if a babe would do, trying to seek comfort in her own hug. She quickly thought back to the three times she had denyed him of her hand in marriage. The first betrail of his heart was simple enough. She mocked him lightly at the mear thought of it. The second was a rush of heated passion, something she had never felt before from any man, and yet, fear was the only element that kept her from saying yes. The last was the hardest of them all...the threat of death was upon him, therefore she had to say no to save her lover's life. Again, she let out a painful wail. Now her cries could be heard by others upon the same floor. Suddenly a knock came upon the door. "Please Mistress...Please stop with the tears and the crying! Yours will surly wake the dead!" She knew the voice. It was Symms. He had come to complain about her relentless cries for her beloved Captain. But suddenly she heard the key in the lock and the door slowly opened. Symms stood at the door with a tray of food. Though the food was a welcome sight, she did not feel like eating. "Come now Miss. I am sure that God is looking over him as we speak. Someone will send word soon enough about how he is doing." Lilly wiped her tears for a moment and gulp down the wine Symms had handed her. "I'm the fool." She whispered. "I should have told him everything from the beginning....everything. Now, he's dead and I don't know what I shall do." Symms eyebrows nitted with concern. "You should not talk in such a fashion. Pray child. God will keep him close." She closed her eyes for a moment. "I wish we knew something...anything." She whispered. "God, if he still lives. I promise that I shall tell him everything.....and I will marry him, no matter what." Symms just looked at the Actress with surprise and rolled his eyes.

It's obvious that she is a stranger in a strange land. "What shall you do here, Lady?" Asks the actress as she leans forward to her.

AMAZING WORK THERE, KASS!!!! Just wanted you to know that... Interesting thread about women upon ships. I must admit that I am not educated enough upon this subject to interject, but there have been several eye opening accounts listed here that make me want to dash to the library for further studies. I thank you all… By the way...why is it that English women have the reputation of being lazy (or drunk) in this time period?!
-
Again with the humor?! You're too much, captain
-
I plan to look persentable, Captain. And your humor is very dull this day! Every Tom, Dick and Harry...Really Captain....you forgot Terrance and Sabastain!
-
Tess, I see you hail from Newport, RI. I hear that there was a Pirate Fest there this past year? Did you attend and if so, how was it?

Lilly smiling...somewhat shocked at Rateye's behavior.... It depends if I can get me gown done for Sunday. I am hoping that the good Captain will bring my 'proper green/rose dress" for Sunday. I was told it's not a good idea to 'poke the bear' Rateye....and may I remind you...there is a whore still looking for you at Bristol Town Square. She's the one with the Cat...remember!
