  1. Hello Greg, Captain Sterling is working on 'creating' a website/webpage for our crewe members to post event and photo information. Alas, it is still in the 'draft' stages. And the Empress is correct. This is the first offical 'event' that we have been able to attend...but fear not...there will be more in the future! As for additional shots...please contact me off the list and I'll see what I can find. I'd be happy to help.
  2. Lilly tries to console Ransom. Come now, Pet. There are other events...other times we can manage to get together. As for the appearence...Kass' patterns are the way to go!
  3. MISTRESS LILLY MAE MCKINNEY aka (Cheeky Actress)
  4. In the early morning light, Symms stood at the doorway in front of the room that was now the forgotten jail of Mistress McKinney. “Ye think that yer free, eh?” Muttered the old man as he watched her gather glove and wrap. “What if Killingsworth isn’t dead? Yer life is still in jeopardy, Mistress. I do not think Captain Sterling would like it much if he were to hear that yer walking about Port Royal without a proper escort!” Lilly turned and looked at Symms. “I will not be alone. The waif will be my guide and protector. I must see my Captain and the boy will give me safe passage to the cottage. Besides, knowing that Doctor Reiley is with him makes me feel a tad bit better, but still.” She said with a small reluctant sigh. “I must speak with him and know that he is well.” Mistress Lilly pressed her way passed Symms as she made her way into the hallway. There on a small stool sat the boy. “Are you sure that you know the way?” She whispered to the waif then pulled out a coin for him. “Yes, yes Mistress I do.” “Good, then wait for me downstairs for a moment. I shall be there shortly.” The boy did as she asked. As Symms occupied himself with cleaning up the spare room in which Mistress Lilly has trashed the night before, she slowly made her way into Captain Sterling’s room. As first, she did not know where to look for the object of her desire. Then she pondered for a moment. “Hmm…if I were…” Then she walked over to a small chest sitting upon the Captain’s writing desk. She opened it only to find it empty. “Bloody h…” Then she flipped the chest over and knocked hard on the bottom. “Ah!” She said with a smile. Taking up a small knife she pried open the box to find the bag of money Rateye had bestowed upon the Captain only a few days earlier. Symms had taken to hiding it away for safe keeping. “Fool! Did you not think that I would find it?” She said to herself as she tucked the bag of coins into her petticoat, then giggling to herself thinking, “I’ve got money in me skirts!” and finding the whole episode very ironic. As she smoothes her skirts, she looked down the hall way to see if Symms had noticed her. She tip-toed down the hall and made her way down to the waif who was sitting in the Tavern. “Come Boy.” She said with a smile. “I have much to tell our good Captain.
  5. Lilly stands there slack-jawed and amazed. "Dear God in Heaven! I cannot believe that you have not heard of our wonderous event!" She quickly runs over to Captain Sterlings writing desk and proceeds to toss paper and parchment into the air. "I know I have it here...somewhere...where the bloody....HERE IT IS!" She shouts and hands the link over to CrazyCholeBlack. "Feast yer eyes upon this!" http://www.reenactorfest.com
  6. Good Day to thee, CrazyCholeBlack. I see that we are neighbors here in WI! I cannot take any credit for the lovely gown I wore last Sunday. 'Twas the Captain's doing. He has the most wonderous eye for finery! The gown is made out of several types of silk. I know that the green has a lovely textured brocade with a nice silver thread running through it. The petticoat is a simple pink silk. Seeing that you are so close to the Midwest area, CrazyChole...are you thinking of attending the Reenactor Fest II this February? We'd love to see more of your group there!
  7. Giggling... Yes, made with lamb, but deer will do just as nicely, too.
  8. Oh that little Nit doesn't worry me none... except when he sneaks up behind me! ...Or sneaks up upon your blind side, Captain! You hate that when that happends!
  9. Looking somewhat relieved she smiles. "Well, in the state that we were all in (lack of sleep was my problem, mind you) I am surprised I can remember much of anything that day. But I did laugh a lot and had a grand time of it! I've even come up with a nick-name (like you need one?!) for you....Shackles!
  10. Lilly looks over at the two of them. "Yes, I must agree with you Mistress Devareaux that the Captain's happiness is important to those around him. Though, it has been my experience that he find happiness in the oddest of places. " With a raised eyebrow she looks over at Tess St. Claire...who is still trying to calm down Killingsworth last confrontation with the rest of the rabble in the tavern.
  11. Hmm Yum, Aurore...you're Midwest roots followed all the way down there, eh? Well, Shepard's Pie tonight...quick and simple. Great comfort food for fall. Oh, by the way...the leaves on my large Red Oak are now turning...and it's only September 5th!
  12. Lilly still looking a bit flustered and still fretting.... You must have misunderstood me, Sweet Sir. I do apologize for the misunderstanding....perhaps it was the drink that made you falter in what you heard...and the excitement of the day, mayhap? Again...you and yours have passage...
  13. Ney sir! You have right of passage to RF2...you must come...YOU MUST!!!
  14. "Now Lill, I don't hear ye complaining when I plunder yer booty!" Sterling chuckles wickedly. She looks shocked and blushes. "I shall take that as a compliment, Sir!"
  15. CAPTAIN! Shouts Lilly. "My word...you can be such a...a.." She just crosses her arms. "Pyrate!"
  16. Hmm...must I? Very well....though I do not care for the look upon my face (not a great shot...sorry)...the dress looks wonderful...thanks to Kass and our Good Captain.
  17. Dear Kass, Thank you so much for your hard work and the endless hours of research in order for us to look so 'Ab Fab' this past weekend. Rateye and Andrew March looked splendid in their attire and well...(sigh) the Captain looked wonderful!!!
  18. What?! Come now, this is nothing but Tom Foolery! No one has said anything about you being barred from RF2?! Please tell me that this is just a joke!
  19. Ney Sir...you look 'blushingly' fine. You were in good humor that day, Cap'n Pete. Never have a found someone who is so constantly 'on' as you! I left the faire with both my sides hurting from laughing so hard!
  20. Merry Making at it's best... Though...I fear we are all Pyrates at Heart!
  21. Lilly raises her tankard. "A Toast to All of you who were in my good Company at Bristol yesterday!" Cap'n Pete, fear not...you pleased the Captain very much and your company is sought out if and when his ship ends up in these waters again. We do enjoy the antics of a happy crewe, and do not be embarrassed by what past in your mind...we, sir found pleasure in your best company. The laughter, the antics, and drinking...I did not want the day to end! Please do not fret over the shackles, Cap'n. I would love to be able to use them at RF2. Just remember to bring them. If I do not wear them (and I am sure I will) they will be used as a display of items for our booth. God Bless you, Cap'n Pete!
