  3. Actually need to go to bed, because I need to get up early...really early... but I'm sewing... waistcoat, three coats, three pairs of trousers, corset, two chemises and a mini mantua... and making patterns, but I need to go to bed...

  11. Thoroughbred/Quarter is a great mix as well... get the looks and size of the former and the brains and great nature of the later...

  14. I'm sure each breed has its best and worst... I had a thoroughbred for Rev. War... he knew and understood every drum command on the field... at one drill, we charged a group of Brits who had bayonets charged... I let him do his own thing... he galloped right up, stopped at a safe distance then walked forward and knocked the end of the gun with bayonet out of the way and proceeded to push his way through the line... NOW THAT was some animal!!!

  16. I love the oddballs that don't turn white with age... I also have a pair of the spurs used by the riders... supposedly copied from late 17th century...
  17. Yeah I need more of along the lines of 16.3 or taller... Trakehners are not bad... over in England I had a great little cross between Thoroughbred and Shire... just right...
